I had a great weekend. On Saturday, I made a gigantic cauldron full of homemade chili while watching college football. I invited my sister and a friend of ours over, and they obligingly brought cake and beer. We spent the evening/night pouring chili and cheese over everything we could possibly come up with.....french bread, rice, Fritos, tortilla chips, french fries, and every possible combination thereof....drank some beer, ate cake, played Spades and watched the Longhorns trounce poor Rice. A good day.

Sunday, I did absolutely nothing constructive. I spent the day reading a new book I got for my birthday, watching football and playing the new Civilization IV expansion pack Beyond the Sword. I did stop long enough to throw together a dinner of roast beef w/ oven-roasted veggies and sweet potatoes, but that's about it.

It was a great weekend. Of course I look around my house now, and realize that I really should have done some laundry or something. Oh well. I feel no shame. :D

How about everybody else?

I had a pretty good weekend too, except that I took Charlie with me over to a friend's house and he went after her chickens. It was NOT pretty. Chickens going crazy, feathers flying everywhere, Charlie snarling behind them at 100 miles per hour. Fortunately I was able to grab him before he caught one!

Mine was action packed.

Friday night I did a "dry run" at Sushi making (see the Sushi Sushi! thread). Got up early on Saturday morning for a funeral at my church. Then spent the rest of the day working on dinner party stuff. Our friends didn't leave until after 9:30 PM which meant I was up until after midnight cleaning up again. Then up again for church (I was leading the gathering music and doing the children's chat plus I'm chair of Deacons and we were meeting with baptismal candidates).

All in all, I was looking forward to coming back to work so I can get some rest. Sitting here at my desk eating some of my Sushi leftovers. :D

It was good.
Lots of Little League baseball practice with my son.
Rearranged the furniture in my bedroom and hung some new pictures.

Had a GREAT time watching UGA beat Bama in over-time!!!!! Yeah! Highlight of the weekend.

It was topped off by the Jaguars beating the Broncos, but we're much bigger college fans, so the UGA win was the one that had us dancing around the room.

Very good :)

I had friday off, so I went on 2 monumentous walks with Bodhi, and shattered her out.

Saturday night I went to a reggae/dubs night, and then to a party on a farm.

Danced for about 6 hours solid to some good music :D

Chilled out the next day on the farm, sat for a long while in a hammock watching a spider spin a web.

Very productive ;)

Well, it was fantastic fun-wise, but...productive/school wise...BAD.

Although most of you prob won't agree with my kind of fun...oh well.

Started Thurs night: went to a bar, it was ok...but then I slept through classes accidentally on Fri morning :(

Fri was highly unproductive since I woke up at 2pm, but I got some hw done...

Fri night was a fantastic night...my roomies friends were visiting, so we went to a few house parties with them, and had a really fun time...

I skipped tailgating and the football game to study on saturday...just wish my studying would have been more productive...

Sat night...out again, where I drank waay too much (well, i didnt get sick or anything!), and managed to be "that" girl at the bar who is way too loud and obnoxious, but oh well, haha, I had a fabulous time, and since we were super camera happy, I woke up to 170 pics on my camera documenting the night.

Due to going to bed at like 6am, my sunday was totally unproductive...got a tiny bit of work done, but not NEARLY enough.

Gempress you ALWAYS make me hungry when I read your threads!!:D

My weekend was OK but busy. The finace was recovering from a procedure so he was not a happy camper and I got to be his nurse part of the weekend...lol.

Then went with my maid of honor to look at some bridesmaids dresses for her only to find out that even though I still have close to 9 months left till the wedding, I should have already ordered my dress to assure that it comes in and gets altered in time. SO I was kinda stressed trying to hunt down dresses that I know I will feel good in after I finish losing the last 10 pounds or so. Meanwhile, my own mother still doesn't know the news and won't until our big engagement announcement surprise in a couple weeks and I REALLY wanted to do my dress looking with mom. SO I am having to compromise on a bunch of stuff.. but such is life!!

I had a decent weekend. I had to work and so did my bf but after work we just hung out, went for a ride on the motorcycle, drank beer, went to eat some Mexican, and saw a movie.

Saturday sucked. My mother and I went out on a shopping trip, she had some starbucks coffee that made her ill for the rest of the night, she could barely drive home.... (she's fine now.)

Sunday was fun. We went out with Middie, and while my mother was getting her hair done he and I hung out... worked on a little bit of obedience.. met a few people. He was VERY well-behaved, didn't even try to jump up on anyone, and no barking at all. I was thrilled. Then we took him to go get some ice cream, and there was this rude woman there who had like 8 kids and was ignoring the little ones as they kept going back and forth from the table to the napkin-thing to get napkins that they were throwing around in the wind. Napkin after napkin was going everywhere, getting under our table, Middie was trying to eat them as we tried to pick them up, they were getting in the water and caught in bushes... ick. So, I lost my temper and brought Middie with me to go pick them ALL up, and when he tried eating them I told him loudly, "No, silly, don't eat trash that's littered about on the ground." Urgh. The whole thing just got under my skin. It's a really nice place, and they were just dumping their trash EVERYWHERE.

Then I made dinner... it was yummy... and now I'm tired and irritable and don't feel like doing my homework.

well i had two tickets. i went to pay them they were for tag and insurance. i was in line for like thirty minutes and i was like omg i forgot my insurance but i had my tag and i was like maybe they'll not need the insurance because i got this today and HAVE to have insurance to get it. so i go up and pay and they don't say anything so i was like oh ok it's fine... they even let me pay the ticket. well i got pulled over for no tag light. *i had bought but couldn't get the cap to pop off to put the light in* and had the lights in my car. well i had a warrent out because i when court date pulled around i had paid my fine but still didn't have any record of showing insurance. soooo collinsville cops took me in and were really nice they gave me a break and gave me a court date instead of a fine. and said that the judge would prob work a deal with me to agree to a probation liscense for a while. then took me to owasso where the warrent was for. they booked me but their holding area was pretty small. and there was a crazy meth addict there o_O they had in the back they were stripping down and cavity searching. who bit a couple officers and tried to swall.ow a pack of drugs to hide it.. then they found out she had some disease that all the officers that got bitten had to go to the emergency room to get checked out. and they had a drunk guy who kept screaming. and the cops were like.. 'you are a traffic violation. they're on a w hole different level than you...' i paid my fine and got out but because i didn't have a ride until morning they let me hang out there until i could get a ride. i just hung out watched court tv and played on their computer a bit. they were really nice. i'm going in oct 11 to talk to their judge and work everything out. but they said since i got my insurance AND tag before the date i could prob work everything out without too much trouble.

on a side note i'm not angry at the cops they did their job. it was totally my mistake and i just check this on my lessons learned card.

now the wrecker company they made me mad. the cops got my money out of my car because i said i didn't want to leave it in. well when we got to police office they were like need to call someone? and i said my phone is in my car. so they raido'd the guy and was like hey have you left we need her cell phone so she can get a number out and the guy was like i left alrady. so the cops go can one of us come get it and the guy goes no i am dropping it off then leaveing to go get some food. well iwas like fine i'll figure something out. well then they called because my birth certificate and citizenship papers were in the car *yeah stupid but i had taken them up to work so they could make copies for records* and to get my car out i need photo id and needed that to get it. well the guy was like 'she can only take stuff out if she has photo id. i don't care if she can't get it she has to pay storage fee' well i owe the cops a HUGE one. they went up today and was like 'listen... you can't keep her personal records and not let her get a photo id and then charge her every day for no photo id' and they got a wrecker company only one town away from where i live and took it there instead. they got my personal docs out and i can get it whenever i want now' :)

Kind of not good.

Friday was fun, I hung out with my 4 of my friends all night and we just did some random stupid stuff.

Saturday was good, went to the mall with a friend and bought some pretty sweet stuff.

Yesterday was when everything got ruined.
