Whenever I bring out the camera, Zeus poses so beautifully. No treats, commands, etc., required. He's just naturally photogenic. I always end up with pretty shots like this:

Voodoo on the other hand, is the most camera-hating dog I've every had. If I leave him to pose himself, I get the most cheeky and undignified photos ever. He's like the little kid that always gives himself bunny ears or makes faces in the school pictures. Like this:

When I get exasperated and pose him, he gives me this incredibly sulky "defiant toddler" face. Take this picture, where I put him in a stand-stay...

See what I mean? Sheesh.

So, how photogenic are your dogs?

Buddy loooooove paparazzi!!!! Bella could care less. Might attempt to eat the camera, though. Banzai, as long as he's able to do what he can he doesn't mind one bit :)

Dekka is very photogenic.. but her Dad, Kaiden, isn't. I do have a few good pics of him. But that is more by dint of taking soooo many pics, at least a few have to be good.

Well . . . let's just say she earned the nickname, Shiva Diva  If there's a camera - she's gonna find a way to get in the front center of the frame.

And TOTALLY ham it up

He knows he's photogenic, lol!

But he's at his best when I'm using the long lens and he's completely oblivious to the attention:

I don't think you can get a bad shot of Kharma - and she acts so deceptively casual about the whole process.

And cooperates so well for close ups

Charlie turns into psycho-dog and I get nothing but a flying ball of fur, just before he knocks me on my ass. This is one of the clearer pics I have of him:

luce is a total ham. can you tell?

mushroom's quite happy to be photographed but black dogs are hard, which is why there aren't nearly as many good pictures of him. harv is scared of the camera so mostly he runs away. i have a few decent shots of him, but he's got so much stress in his life already without me pestering him.

Trey is MR. model. I think it's because he's so stiff that he always looks good in shots.

Nikki just never stays around long enough to get a picture taken of her. She's a diva and gets bored. When you DO get a pic, however, they look good.

Beau has a tendency to look like a fart in every pic. Occasionally, though, he looks really good.

Rose is kind of hard to get pics of, but she can sure look cute!

Rylie and Chloe are pretty photogenic, but it's hard to catch Madison at the right moment. He's not too fond of having his picture taken.

VERY...esp Ellie. Here extremely expressive eyes and coloring is very conducive to nice shots. All my hounds photograph well...some like the camera and some don't but I take the nature photog's route and follow them around til they forget I am there and end up with super nice pics usually.

I'm not authorized to post pics here apparently...but here's my Flickr page:

I don't know. I think my two are pretty photogenic but then again I usually try to get pictures of them looking goofy instead of posed lol.

This one was just luck lol

Zoe is the worst poser ever!! She never sits still or waits for me to take the picture when she does something cute. Look at this one-- eyes closed and everything

Gonzo is definitely UNphotogenic! For some reason... he ends up looking scary in a lot of his pictures. Especially because, when ever I get a camera out, his ears go back. ughhh, it's sooo annoying. He looks so handsome with his ears up. He also makes really funny faces, like so.

Fozzie... on the other hand, has been a seasoned poser ever since he was a babyyy. : D

He often pushes Gonzo out of the way, when I'm taking pictures. It's alllll about Fozzie.
