1st baby at age 20, 2nd at age 25. yep...I was cradle robbed. LOL but...it was wildly fun to 'grow up' with them. I was married at age 19, something I would never recommend......but it worked for us. hubby is still my dream...gives me 'quivers' when I see him walk into a room...I adore him. I loved being a young mom, and I think my kids loved a young mom. :) and now, we are all the best of friends. when people ask if you'd change anything in your life..........I say........NO WAY.

Endo is really hard. I was told 6 years ago that I would never be able to conceive, but we tried anyway and ended up pregnant despite going on birth control eventually. So don't give up hope yet. I suppose whatever happens is what's supposed to be, but don't let doctors tell you everything. ;)

Thanks Romy! :)

Yeah, it is tough. And at times I really wonder if suffering through the pain for so long is worth it, and wouldn't a hysterectomy just make more sense. But I have no choice on that right now, because of my age (only 26) and the fact that I have no kids, they won't do it if there's any way possible they might be able to give me the chance to. Regardless of what my current thoughts on it are, they keep saying "well you could change your mind".

But not only that, I lost my job over all of this. I went for surgery last year, had trouble on the treatments I was on for 9 months (which also had me back in the hospital), and got fired for innocent absenteeism as soon as my work hardening was done and I got back to my regular 8 hour shifts. It's affected me physically, emotionally, financially......really, I'd rather have it over with, even if it means no chance of ever having kids. The surgery I did have only helped short term too, I already feel like I'm back to the way I was right before it. :(

1st one at 24, planned.
2nd at 27, planned.
3rd at 34, unplanned; had always talked about having a 3rd but just never did. We had just decided that time was up, and we weren't going to have a third one afterall. Plans changed again.

first at 23--pleasant surprise!
second at 26--planned
third at 29--pleasant surprise!
I always wanted four children--didn't have the fourth one since my third had special needs and we felt we needed to put our parenting energies into her needs rather than having another child. That proved to be a good decision for us.

All 3 were very planned .... at 24..27 and 30 . We originally wanted 4 but not 5 ....so we left it up to fate . Married way too young at 19 ( Tom - at 22 ), so glad we didn't have the 1st earlier . ( though we tried for over 3 years ) .

This thread is pretty interesting. I couldnt imagine having a kid at 15. :yikes:

A family friend has 3 kids and only 21. Got prego with the first one at 15. She has been diagnosed with cervical cancer and might not be able to have anymore. She wants a fourth one. she just got married to the father of her one year old son.

First one planned when I was 28 and married 7 years. My husband wasn't sure he wanted kids, so we waited awhile. I thought it would take awhile to get pregnant.......surprise....right away! Second one planned...I was 29 and crazy... much too soon. Third one UNplanned...I was 32, using birth control, and....my husband said ok he was wanting just 2, but surprise, we had three and right before my husband was scheduled for a vascectomy. I told him on New years eve that year, and he sat in a chair and got hysterical laughing.....I think it was a pressure release! lol Tubes tied after last one, as planned by doc and my husband.
Now they are all in their 20's and I have one grandchild.
