It's starting to scare me how old my guys are getting...

Mindy's 13, Di 11....

They've aged well (other than Di's blindness but that happened when she was much younger, and it has no affected her much other than to make her nose rival a bloodhounds!)

It just depresses me sometimes to realize that they are seniors and this past winter was the first time it was really noticeable.. Mindy minded the cold a lot! She'd go lay by a heat source in the shop or stay in the office on the couch instead of being out in the main shop with Jeff :-(

Shamoo is 14. She both thrills and terrifies me at this age. She is doing so well but every day i fall more in love with her and hate the idea of losing her.

Arnold is 7, almost 8, which isn't that old but he's slowing down. He's been slowing down since he was 5 though. I'm really not sure how long he'll last mentally (he's gotten a bit weird) or physically (he's regularly sore).

Our oldest is just 5 yo so just hitting "perfect dog" status. I do dread things in about 7-10 years tho as all four dogs will be seniors and even our current youngest will be almost 8yo+. :(

Solo is 11 1/2 and going strong. He still loves practicing obedience and doing his tricks. He's even getting nicer in his old age. He recently had a physical type dog play for the first time in his whole life. Before he'd play chase games with a select few dogs, but no one can resist a cute female Mal in heat. :D

Rose will be 14 in October. Up until a few months ago she was doing really well, but she's aged a lot in these past few months. Her hips are a bit stiff now and her sight/hearing is about half of what it should be, but other than that she's doing well.

Chloe just turned five, so she's not old yet. Cynder is six and she's not old yet, either. They're just good dogs now. LOL

Major, St. Poodle, is 15! I do believe he is at least partially deaf and blind, however he still makes his way around the house and yard just fine. He really is in great shape for 15, and considering his family history and that all his 5 siblings have passed away already.

My oldest is Rylie- she's 6 1/2 years old. Chloe just turned 6 in February. I'm dreading the idea of them getting old.

Fromo is 6 1/2 as well. I can't really say he's slowing down as he was never that active, lol. I don't want him to get old :(

It has shocked me how fast it happened! I mean I've been through it before... But this time it seems like I blinked and they went from babies to seniors!!

Todd is 11, he's 12 in July. He's pretty fit actually, he still goes for hour walks daily, but sleeps a lot. There's nothing physically wrong with him other than he has slowed down now.

Sally is thirteen and she's slowing down. :( Her back legs are really stiff, but other than that she's had no health issues or anything. *touch wood*

Millie is 10. :( She hasn't really slowed down in activity much in the past few years, but she's getting sooooooo much gray. Even her eyelashes are white.

Luce and Mushroom are both 9 1/2. Mushroom looks the same as he always has except for a sprinkling of white hairs on his face. Luce is starting to look old, though. She's warty, she's losing muscle mass, she's going gray especially in the face. It really struck me when I picked her up from the kennel on Sunday.

She's not allowed to be old :(

Kiba will be 8 in July. Technically not that old, but other than a cyst and fatty lump here, and her knee (which is not even an issue and being on supplements now), she's not acting like an old dog. We actually have seemed to have bonded closer the last year or two and she's really coming into her own and becoming a super agility dog. I want her to be like my friend's rescue group, dogs adopted at ~8yo and at 13 still rocking at agility!

Pip is the oldest at 7. Not too worried about him yet.

It's the cats I worry about. The patriarch is 15 (although he doesn't look it) and the youngest is 9, so... we're gonna have a pack of old cats around here pretty soon.

Everyone in this house is old except for Blitz! time passes so fast now I swear.

Tawny is thirteen
Gizmo is thirteen
Byron is twelve and I think the oldest of the three as far as "dog years" go.

I worry about tawny a lot. When my brother left for his army training she quit eating but finally started again and now she is fine. she has had periods of that when he has not come to see her before and I thought we would have to put her down to the point where I have been bawling on the floor with her begging her to eat. He stopped to see her and she ate a whole cup and was fine there on out last time. He comes home to visit this summer so we will see what happens. this dog is a basket case.

Byrons going to break something because he runs around like an idiot and will sprawl himself out and not understand he can't do it anymore. I have been trying to teach the slow command but he has to much energy for such an old boy:( I just want to wrap him in pillows.

gizmo will go forever!

I was trying to figure out how old my Siamese Diablo was the other day. I had him back when my parents divorced. I think that makes him fifteen or sixteen. The other cats are under four so guess they are all good.

Suzie is probably in the 11 range. But I've been saying that forever. Maybe now I can start dropping the age. Yeah, she's 8. And she had better stay that way for a loooooooooong time.
