All you people who look younger.. rejoice, your future will be fun.

I still get carded when buying alcohol. (the age here is 19) I got carded twice in the same night (headed off to a big partay). I told the one guy (he was kinda cute) that I loved him. He was shocked and told me I was aging well (was that a compliment or an insult.. and he was older than me) The other time was a woman who just couldn't believe it.

I'm under 18. And that's all I'm saying. :)

Although I'm curious to see how old some of you think I am. Any guesses?

I went into the place my sister works the other day....

When I left, she told everyone "that's my big sister". She was gutted because they all look shocked and said they thought I was her younger sister :D

My sister is nearly 8 years younger than me - she's 19 LOL ;)

People always tell me I look younger though... I can't complain.

8? No I'm kidding. I don't even know you. Based on your lack of typos and grammatical errors, and the amount of wisdom present in your signature, I will say........ 17 1/2. I don't have much to go one here though.

Actually since there are quite a few young people on this forum and the fact that you're reluctant to give your age DESPITE your apparent maturity, you could also be a mature 13 or 14 year old.

When I was 12 and we first got the internet at my house, I always hung out in a chat room with a bunch of 40somethings... none of them believed I was only 12 and said I was quite mature for my age. I think maybe I was mature for my age back then but I have since caught up with myself and am at the minimum maturity required for a person my age (25 next month).

I know how you feel...I can't wait either! Not so much that I want to go out to clubs and the casino and buy cigarettes...but just the fact that I COULD if I wanted to, that nothing's stopping me...the freedom is what I can't wait for!

Yeah I know what you mean.
Charla told me when she turns 18 she's gonna go get her a lotto ticket, LOL. I told her I was gonna get me a pack of cigs, she didn't think that was funny.... :lol-sign:
But its just the fact that I COULD do stuff like that.
Razz, are you 17?

I'm younger than Grammy but older than M&M's Mommy.

Besides, it's not the age, it's the mileage.

And it would have been November of 1985 (not 1986) for conception of all of these fine folks turning 22 this August. Must have been a cold winter (or a good thanksgiving weekend).

Savor your time as a non-adult, dear. I waited and waited to turn eighteen, and you know what? It sucks. My parents don't HAVE to back me up any more, and most times they don't. If I get into a car accident, its my fault, I have to pay bills, and have a job (which was optional before and I did it because I liked it, but now that I HAVE to, I'm not that excited about it). Your parents can't go in and say "Um, my daughter can't work these hours, this is WAY too many," you just have to suck it up now and be exhausted. Paying rent, water and electricity bills, among other things. I found out that there are soooo many other things that you HAVE to pay for when you're an adult. Your parents aren't going to buy your clothes or food any more, they're not going to pay to feed your dogs, and they're not going to get you out of any messes you get yourself into. :(
PS
You can't buy a lotto ticket until you're 21.

Enjoy being a teenager, don't count the days until you're eighteen. It comes way too fast.

I know my parents will do most if not all the things you said your parents won't do. I'm still in school and I'll be living with my dad, he don't expect to pay rent or anything like that. Since I'm still in school I don't have to get a job unless I want one.
Its not the fact that I want to grow up, its the fact that I am turning 18. If that makes sense.

Depends where you are BC....

when I turned 18 in London I went to a bingo hall and then bought my first lottery ticket lol.

BUT you can't go to casinos until you are of legal drinking age (19 in ontario, 18 in quebec, 21 in the US)

18 isn't that exciting... it's when you are 21 and are of age to do EVERYTHING... except retire lol

Now 21 is NOT an age I'm in a hurry for. That would mean i'm.... in my 20s!!! :yikes:
Not a teen no more, an adult on my own in college..... :yikes:
