How old are you?

I'm 19, although I look like I'm about 12 lol. The woman who altered my bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding a couple months ago thought I was 15. And someone who was in that wedding asked if I was in 7th grade. LOL.... I'm in my 2nd year of college.

I am so bad at remembering how old I am. I'm either 38 turning 39 in february or I'm already 39 and turning 40. I was born in 1971... I know it's 2010 and the math says I'm 39... but I would have bet money I was 38 and not turning 39 until this february....lol

I don't get ID'd ever but that could be because the guy at the liquor store by my house always is hitting on me. Ha. I do get told I look too young to be a mom though. My mom looks young too so everyone assumes Briggs is hers.

The most annoying thing is if I take my sisters (17 and 12) out to lunch they always always either ask if we want the bill split 3 ways or they give it to Emily. Apparently all 3 of us look like we're 16-17.

Josie does look really old for 12 though. I don't think I look 16 though.

I imagine I'd be IDed if I tried to go in a bar or club, but I never have.

I don't get ID'd at the liquor store or any restaurants or anything, though. I didn't start going to the liquor store until I was about 19, and by then they were used to seeing me with my parents and older friends, so maybe they just assumed I was old enough?

I probably would get ID'd if I tried to buy from a gas station or 7/11, maybe I've just been lucky....I did get ID'd trying to buy a lottery ticket for my mom when I was like 16, but have never been asked for ID after I turned 18.

Wow, I guess I never realized that other places were so lax with their carding--they card like crazy here. If you even set foot into a liquor store and they suspect you are underage they'll card you.

Even before they passed this law where everyone must show an ID to buy alcohol I got carded a lot. When DH and I went to Vegas with my parents I got carded multiple times in the same casino. I'd be carded when I sat at a table, carded again when I ordered a drink, often carded again when a new dealer came on, and then carded once more when I moved tables.
