How often do your dogs need out?

1. First thing in the AM - Pee
2. Right after breakfast - Poop, might not pee again
4. Late morning - Pee
5. Late afternoon - Pee, might poop
6. After dinner (usually a walk) - Poop and Pee
7. Right before bed - Pee

That's 7, but I'm guessing that the late morning/late afternoon could probably be combined into one mid-day. But we're all about avoiding trouble here.

I swear once a day would be fine for Ollie !!! I always try to get him out before bed time ( sometimes he just yawns and goes to bed ) He's never in a rush to go out in morning .During the day I'm in and out and he usually pees at that time . He doesn't drink that much water and he never poops at a certain time .

they all go out first thing in the morning, at lunch, when i get home from work, and then before bed. harv goes out immediately following breakfast and dinner as well because he must poop.

Average 4 times a day..............WAY more if it's nice out, LOL, but they don't really NEED more than 4.

Morning, Noon, mid afternoon, and after evening meal.

you could set a clock by Vic in the bm dept...twice a day usually after he has had about half a bowl of food

to hike it all depends the temperature and big of a con game he is running...
mary goes out when Vic goes out.. he is the bossy one

Walker is content with 3 times not including play or free time or anything besudes time to pee (15 minutes with him) and BM.

Hmm.. an as needed basis would probably be about three times/day.

I let them out in the morning at 6:30am and then they go out again right before bedtime. Those two are the only "scheduled". The other times during the day are random or when they let us know they need to go out. Every time they are let out of their crates, no matter for how long they were in them, they go outside. It's ritual 'round these parts.

It's a beautiful thing to have taught your dogs to pee and poop on command.

Dakota and Eve need to go out at least twice a day - in the morning and before bed. Sometimes they'll ask to go out in between, depending on their activity level in the house (if they've been wrestling all day, they drink more and pee more). If we're all really active, I'd say they go outside 4-5 times a day, not just for potty but for fun. Dash needs to go out 4-5 times a day.

My boys don't go potty without moving around. They go about 2-3 a day.

Yes I know, Charlie knows and listens to the command to pee and poo, but he still wants to go out constantly, especially in the winter, no thing like frolicking in the snow for him and marking everything he can :lol-sign:
