How often do you talk to/see your parents?

How often do you speak to your parents? (Obviously this is for those of you who don't live with your parents, be it away at college or living on your own). Text, email, phone?

How often do you see your parents, and how far from you do they live?

Those of you who are parents with kids living away from home, how often do you speak to them?

Maybe 3 times a week unless there is something important going on.

Stepmom almost daily.

My mom lives about an hour away, and I talk to her about once or twice a month on the phone.

My dad lives about ten minutes away, and I don't talk to him.

I see y mum pretty much everyday, we live together so it'd be weird if we didn't.
I talk to my dad whenever he calls, about every 2 weeks and he might visit once every 6-9 months.
My stepdad is dead now and we didn't get on well for the last few years of his life.

and we might talk on the phone like once a week...

I talk to my mom on the phone probably on average 2-3 times a week, sometimes more some less depending on whats going on.

My parents live 200 miles away and I usually see them about every other month, either them coming here, or us going there.

My dad lives in Vegas and I guess I talk to him every few months, and see him about every 1-3 years. It depends.

I talk to dad roughly once a month on the phone, slightly more on facebook. Mom and I (and usually my stepdad) see each other in person at least once a week and usually talk on the phone once or twice.

Gg has me call her in the morning to make sure if she is dead that the dogs don't have to wait too long to go out. She is 85. So at least once sometimes more. See her at least once a week.

Talk to my mom everyday
I call her on the way to class, we skype nearly every night lol

We have "family chat" every monday night (my mom, dad and 2 brothers)

and I see them about every month-2 months on average, whenever I get a college break lol

We are all pretty close crazy, fight like animals, loud, complaining.. but close lol

Uuhhh.... I visit their grave at least twice a year, on both anniversaries. But usually more.

Most people don't know when I go, I'll go out and sit there and talk to them for a bit. It's therapeutic.

I talk to my Mom about twice a week or every five days or so on the phone, and will talk via email or text every 2-3 days. I mostly only talk to my (step)dad when I see them.

I see them about every 3 weeks or so. They live an hour away.

both my parents live about an hour or so north of me (but separate).
i speak to my dad probably 4-5 times a week - but he emails, texts, and leaves phone for last.

my mom - we talk on the phone maybe 2 times a week. id talk to her more if she texted, etc

i see them probably about once a month.

My parents live in Ontario about 9-10 hours from us. I talk to my mom every single day on the phone. sometimes more than once lol

I talk to my dad on the phone every sunday and we talk online most days

I talk to my MIL just about everyday too on the phone and they live in Florida about 18 hours from us

We go to Florida usually at least twice a year. I haven't gone back home to Canada in a year and a half but that's not by choice. once immigration stuff is cleared we will go there at least twice a year too most likely

My mom texts me randomly at least every other day or so(like last week she was in florida it was the temperature every hour). We talk at least a couple times a week. There are times when it seems we talk all the time and then we go weeks without talking,no real reason. She lives kind of the next town over(if you call what I am in a town lol!) and its like a ten to fifteen minute drive. I see her at least every two weeks I'd say. Maybe a little less since I have been working full time.

My dad has finally learned to text so now he texts me to make sure I am not to busy to talk Don't talk to him that much,couple times a month? Usually about my brother doing something stupid. My dad still lives in the house I grew up in about ten minutes from me. I don't see him nearly as much as I see my mom.

I'm trying to cut it down to 3x a week, but my mom is a maniac who flips out if she calls once and I don't answer, assumes I'm dead, panics, calls me 50 times, then calls all my friends.

I live with my parents again now, but before that I talked to my mom every. freaking. day. anyway. Or at least texted. Most days visited too. I mean we've always been in the same (relatively small) city. My dad I talked to whenever I visited...neither of us are phone people lol.

It varies... I live 2hrs away. Usually speak to my mum or dad once a fortnight, or once a week. Text occasionally. Visit every few months. We're all independent people, but is say we're a close family, extended family included.

Hopefully will be back in Yorkshire next weekend introducing him to my parents, which will be fun ;-)
