How much child negligence is a legal offense

that is a frustrating situation--have you spoken to the Mom at all? That can be tricky too--but it sure sounds like someone needs to be watching these kids!
I have 'sort of' spoken to her Bax. You know........when you take the kids back over you say things like "They were in the street, someone could get hurt!" Or "They were all the way over in my yard, they shouldn't be crossing the street alone!"

I know my other neighbor lady has gotten right down to the nitty gritty with her, she doesn't beat around the bush or hold back...........she came right out and said "You need to be watching these kids better, one of them are going to get killed on that road, kidnapped, or something"

Maybe the way to get to her is to REALLY get down and dirty and tell her that after they get killed in the street she won't be able to collect SSI or anything else for them.
