See, that's a little too loose for me - it's why I can't do casual sex. (Tried it, didn't work out. :rofl1 I prefer my partners STD tested and being very, very safe. STIs can pass quickly through a group of people even if everyone is using a condom, which is why that style of relationships just wouldn't work for me.

I guess I cant wrap my head around the idea that monogamy wouldnt be boring... there would have to be a WHOLE lotta spiciness for me...

In another way, it could get very boring if the variety that you crave isn't just in what kinds of sex you have, but who you are having sex with. If having a variety of people and learning a new person's body is where you get a lot of the joy and exhilaration of sex from, it could get very boring.

For me, sex is NOT "just sex"--it is a part of a committed relationship. I can not imagine ever having sex with someone just to have sex

No, I never wondered. I just wondered what sex was like. And if you and your partner are well matched in the bedroom, then it never gets boring, there's always something new to try, and it's a VERY different type of learning experience than it is when you first start having sex with them.

Well, see I do have an "unofficial SO" which Im very very comfortable with and we do lots and lots of different things, and its NEVER boring, BUT I like variety so while I dont really get bored doing things WITH my "unofficial SO" I get bored of it being his penis and want it to be a different one sometimes...

I've had 2 partners, one was my ex-husband and now my current one. Even though I haven't had many different partners, I don't feel like I've missed out on experiencing a variety, just saying that seem to devaluate it . I really can't think of being more intimate either emotionally or sexually with anybody else but my husband. I'm certainly not dissatisfied.
