Funny you said that Toscasmom. Originally, I started acquiring these pets when my kennel was being built. I thought it would be fun for the families with children to have something to take their mind off of leaving their dog. A petting zoo! Occassionally, I'd have small children cry when I had to take their dog or puppy down to kennel. It was supposed to be just the rabbits and one goat. Over the years, my friends whose husbands have said "absolutely not" when they want to rescue an animal, have then said "Oh! We know who'll take it." The "Molly Llama" showed up at my house on my birthday, unannounced. Friends opened the back of a horse trailer and there stood a rather wild, not yet halter broke, 1 yr old Llama. Several men had herded her into the trailer to get her to me. Was told she'd never worn a halter/lead, never had her feet done, never been sheered and "have fun!'
