I insist on Lola's rabies tag and identification tag be put on her collar. I catch Arielle taking her collar off because she doesn't like to hear her jingle whenever she moves.

Although Lola is never left outside unattended to.. I just don't want to take the chance of not having her tags on her collar. What if she bolted away from us and took off and got lost.

I should probably just go have her micro chipped but even then.... some people don't think to take the dog to have it checked for a micro chip. I know I've found dogs before and got them back to the rightful owner relatively quick because they had identification tags on.

i forget all the time to put the collar with the tags on! When Ruckus goes out he has his choker on, not his tag collar.

My dogs' tags are on their collars, but Cocoa doesn't wear her collar. I make Marq wear his though, in case he ever gets loose. He's worth 1500 .. And I don't have that kind of money to pay his breeder back! Lol(He's on a co-ownership.)

Lizzie's tags are on her collar and I ALWAYS MAKE SURE that her tags are on when she puts her collar on and when we get new ones each year (well only the rabies is new not the identification tags).

My boys always have tags and collars on. I don't dare risk losing one of them. I think the latest statistic is that 80-90% of lost dogs without ID never find their way home. Scary!

Zoe has rabies and ID tag on always. I like that I can hear where she goes, and just incase she were ever to escape. But I do want to get her microchipped also.

I always keep their id tag......which is a collar tag...not the dangling kind....I love it...

I also keep their rabies and license on the collar, but they dangle and I have lost them more than a few times......

They always wear their collars when outside.

yep, and I agree ^ :)

A acquaintance of mine puts a dab of hot glue on one tag and sticks them together. They don't make noise, but anyone who wants to look at them can just pull them apart.

There was a long period of time before i dared put victor's tag back on. HE caught the first one in the slot of a concrete block where the tag then turned sideways catching him fast against the concrete. He almost choked to death before i could get him out of that mess. I am still not comfortable about him having one on even now but he does. I do have my phone number and Mom's written on the outside and inside of his collar.

i ALWAYS make yoshi where hers. i've had too many people offer to try and breed her *even though she's fixed and couldn't anyway* or want her because their kids like her to let her go without her id on. i know most people in my neighborhood would bring her back to me. but if she got farther than 10 miles from my house and she was found by nice enough people they'd need her id to find me

My dogs always wear their collars with their ID tag, aswell as their city license and their rabies tag. I hate jingling, so they all wear tag covers on their collars ("QuietSpot" for the martingales, "Pet Pocket ID" for buckle collars and harnesses).

My dogs only wear their collars when they're out, never at home and all of their collars have their tags on them. They're also all sporting tatts and microchips.:) Never can be too careful.....or neurotic;)

I've got license, rabies and info tags on mine. I've gotten into the habit of taking them off in the house since they wrestle so much and I don't want to turn into a horror story. But out on walks and at the park they have their collars on.

I keep Winnie's tags (ID, license, University of MN, HomeAgain) on her almost all the time. Sometimes I'll take them off at night to give her neck a collar break, but otherwise she wears them. I *love* the jingling... helps me keep track of her in the house!!

I keep the Rabies tag and the ID tag on Bear's collar and he always wears it. I take it off just to brush him so I can get all the fur on his neck then it goes right back on.

Casey has her tags on her collar. She has her collar on all the time apart from when we go to sleep.
