yesh.
I think I've decided to take the leap and cut out the last of his kibble, I've only been feeding small amounts every few days, kinda for peice of mind. I'll give him vegies every once in a while because he loves them and I'll keep some Orijen on hand for nights I have no meat.
I do see this being an issue with mum, we've argued before because I wanted to defrost more meat instead of feeding them low quality kibble for one night.

Not me but I don't show my dogs. My dogs both seem very healthy and have beautiful coats. I couldn't ask for anything better. If I was in competition I would go raw.

I fed 100% raw, but recently started supplementing with Evo red meat kibble. It's more of a convenience thing, being able to throw a couple handfuls of kibble in along with some chicken quarters on days where I don't have time to cut up meat for them. So we're about 95% raw now.

What does showing dogs have to do with feeding raw?

One of three of my dogs is on a raw diet, another will transition soon.

I just switched mine to raw... one of the things I didn't like is waiting for the meat to defrost... but if you soak them in warm water they defrost very quickly! lol.

I went all RAW several weeks ago and so far I think it is awesome. I do keep a bag of Ziwipeak on hand for an occasional meal--its the closest thing I've seen to RAW in a bag--no grains, no potatoes, no fruits-- just a little bit of kelp--dehydrated meat and organs and green lip mussels and Hoki fish. But its pricier than just buying raw foods.
Like DanL I would say I'm about 95% prey model raw (about 80% meat 10% bone 10% organs---roughly speaking of course.

I don't feed raw because its more exspensive. Kibble gives my dogs no problems. Never have in the past with other dogs we've had as well.
