How Many Have Rescued

I've rescued 3 cat's in the past, only 1 is still in our family due to loses and illness, but he lives with my parents, and i adopted my schnauzky. He is my little joy. It's so much better to adopt and rescue animals than to go buy them from stores. Puppy mills and kill shelters are so horrible. It's so great that a lot of people adopt and take an animal home to love.

Have not since I joined, but nearly all my animals have been feral or rescues. Only one I bought was a ferret.

I was dogless when I joined chaz, and remained so until Sierra came into my life.

I adopted Sierra from a local rescue, who had brought her up from a high-kill shelter in Ohio.

My cats are also both rescues of the "off the street" variety, but they are pre-Chaz.

Our last rescue was Heidi (pit). She was near death running on a busy street and her skin looked horrible. This was her this summer

We haven't rescued (we plan on it once we get into a larger house with some land)

we do volunteer for the Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue as much as we can and have also started fostering for them

Deputy, lady had too many dogs so she put a Free Dog Ad in a feed store. She pulled him from a shelter before he could be euthed at 12 weeks. We think Lab X GSD X? we really don't know.

I wonder if Riley will grow up to look like Hailey? (A co-worker's daughter found a litter of puppies dumped alongside the road. I took the remaining male pup and another woman took his sister.)

I don't know what Hailey looked like when she was a pup, so I don't know if Riley looks like Hailey did when she was that age. He does have the same coloring as Hailey though. He's gonna be a good-looking adult, I can tell

Lets see we will start with the first dog I had when I joined here (foster) Tequila and our first ever foster with Greyhound Organizations.

Heres Frosty another Foster

Thsoe are the only greyhound fosters I have pictures of but we fostered around 30. We also got a Chi from a lady who found him and rehomed him his name was Hershey. Then theres the malnurished pitie daddy and I found she was 8-12 had a recent litter and weighted MAYBE 15 pounds was COVERED in demodox mange and may more issues. We had her PTS because she was so bad.

She was a year old when we got her in 2005. Her owners moved in the middle of summer down to FL from Mass. Brought her down, decided to move back and leave her with a OLD lady who had to use a cane, she had NO NO NO Training or manners they were going to leave her at a boarding kennel. She had been brushed in god knows when it took a week to get her brushed ad who knows how they bathed her, it took 3 count them 3 ADULTS to get her in a kiddie pool. Mom found out, was going to found a home and did.....................................OURS.

I didn't rescue AFTER joining here, but Harleigh is a rescue

She was 3 months old when I got her... listed as a Great Dane/Bullmastiff mix.. LOL! She weighed in at 36.6 pounds, big girl. Haha..

She turned 1 y/o on February 5th... She's grown up SOOOOO much! She is now a lean 69 pounds and looks great..
