Explain something to me... I'm all toasty warm under a blanket watching a movie this morning. Lola is snuggled up right next to me. I'm stroking her fur periodically as I watch the movie and she'll flutter her little eyelids to make eye contact with me. The movie is over... we both stretch for a second. Then she rolls over onto her back and nuzzles right up against my neck. I push her down a little because I can't breathe too well with her pressed right up against my mouth..lol. She's still on her back with all four paws sticking straight up in the air. I'm looking at her sweet little face and talking puppy talk to her...even though she's over a year old now. Well, as she's being all cute and cuddly.. I continue with the "oh, what a sweet puppy" "are you momma's little girl?" and just as I am in the middle of saying "are you a pretty girl?" Lola managed to slip me the tongue...:yikes: My mouth was wide open because I was mid sentence.... and she literally swooped her whole tongue in my mouth. It was sooo gross. And as I gag and wanna hurl.. she looks up at me with these eyes "what did I do momma?" I'd like to say this was the first time she's done this to me... but she's managed to get me several times... just not quite this bad..ewwww. You'd think I'd learn not to talk puppy talk when she's anywhere near the vicinity of my mouth. I will have to make a mental note to myself for future violations. So, explain to me how a dog can always manage to get their tongue in places it don't belong??? Does their tongue have a homing signal in it...lol. My dog can't be the only dog that does this.
