How I got Kona

Well, I got Kona the day before Christmas Eve. This is the story, which is pretty funny if you think about it.

It started out with my boyfriend and I moving in with each other. We had our very own apartment, with no parents and just our kids and us. Well, to me, it wasn't enough having the kids. I wanted a puppy.

Well, I started asking Rob, and every time I did, he looked me dead in the face and said "Are you crazy?? We ain't getting a dog!". I believed him and was heart-broken. He had such a sincere look on his face when he said it!! He wouldn't show his "lying face" like he does when we pick on each other.

Anyway, it got about a week before Christmas, and I was wondering what I was getting. I asked Rob, and he told me that it was a pink scooter!! For those of you who don't know, Rob's hobby is scooters, and I HATE them. Again, he didn't do his "lying face" so I was believeing him. He tortured me with it!

It gets late on that day before Christmas Eve, about an hour later than I usually expect Rob home. I knew he was going to get my "pink moped". Well, he pulls in the driveway, and I meet him at the car. To my superise, he pulls out Kona from the back seat with a little pink bow around her neck!

Here are some pics of Kona's first night home:

I have a Koda!!

I have a two and a half year old, male German Shepherd named Koda. His original name was Koa because he was born in Hawaii but I didn't like the sound of Koa so I re-named him. I bought him from a rescue when he was little over a year old and he now weighs 140 lbs. He is pure jaws and paws and no fat on this guy!!! He is a great dog, a smart dog, and quite handsome!!
I also own a five month old, female Goldendoodle named Sunny and she is a little devil! She is as cute as she can be but man, oh man, is she a handful. She is so full of energy and poor Koda gets his ears and tail bitten every day. He's very patient with Sunny but when he tires of her he certainly lets her know it.
