Binn can finish his bowl in less then 5 mins flat.

Stella on the other hand.. takes her time. She'll stare at her food for awhile, then she'll walk around the house making sure the Wolfhound isn't anywhere in sight, then she'll start to eat... very slowly.. lol

It takes Smokey about 90 seconds to eat her 1 cup serving at each of 2 meals. I know that is way to fast, but I can't think of any way to slow her down and it doesn't seem to bother her at all.

Buddy takes a matter of seconds. Really. Banzai is more delicate and will take a couple minutes. ;)

Wrigley could probably eat his entire dinner in around 20 seconds (1/2 cup). I make him eat a bite sit wait eat another bite or two..sit..wait...otherwise he chokes and gags. He acts like he is always starving!

Zeus is a borderline slow/medium speed eater. He'll munch for a few minutes, then he's done. It's hard to get him to eat enough, though. He's so thin because he never eats as much as he's suppossed to.

Voodoo has two modes:
Hungry--He inhales his food like a vaccuum cleaner. Then he chases the bowl across the kitchen in an attempt to lick out every single atom of food.
Lazy--This one is hilarious. He will lie down on the floor with his food bowl tucked between his front legs. Then he will leisurely and selectively pick out one or two pieces of kibble at a time, acting exactly like a Greek queen being hand-fed grapes. It takes him quite a while.

But Voodoo will never, ever leave his food unfinished.

Riot eats like an anoexic watching her "stick figure"..
lol

I'll put food down and he'll look at it.. take a few bites then walk away lol

So now I've added in Puppy Food(for enegery and fat/protein content), Oil for his coat and weight, plus diced hot dog bits, and then sliced liver chunks into it as well :)

He eats his whole bowl now :)

Ginger doesn't eat fast, she doesn't even take time to inhale lol that's when I give them their "supper" bowl. I have them on free eating for their kibbles but after we get up from the table, I give them a bowl of soft food and some of what ever we ate depending on what it is that bowl wow like I said I think the bowl even sparks lol :)

Bear doesn't inhale is food but he eats it all when i give it to him. It probably takes him about 3-5 minutes to eat his food. He takes his time but he's not that slow.

Ripley takes about 10 minutes to eat, just because of the WAY he eats. He always finishes his food, but he will take a bite and carry it through the house until he finds a satisfactory place to drop it. He dumps the entire mouthful out on the floor and eats it piece by piece, then goes back for another bite.

Dakota takes about 5-10 minutes to eat a raw meal, and maybe 2 minutes for kibble/canned.

Chloe inhales her food if it is just kibble... she goes a little bit slower if it is raw or canned/kibble.
Rylie takes her time... she sits at her bowl and stares at the food and chews it really well... or she will take a couple of kibbles into the other part of the room at a time.
Madison is a slow eater as well.

All of mine have seemed to have enjoy their meals and Ollie is no exception . I've always used dry kibble , healthy leftovers from yesterday's meal or fixin's , a little canned if no leftovers , egg if needed and all this mixed up with some warm water to make soupy . The " soup " is lapped up and dinner enjoyed at one sitting with bowl licked clean . I'd say about 4 mins. total .

With Lizzie it depends on what she is eating...if it is raw meat...she takes her sweet time ...carrying it around like she HATES it...but them will eat it slowly asmif I am MAKING her eat it ...And all this is happening maybe....20 feet away from me...me not even NEAR her!

If she is eating her Dog Food(Canidae) if we are in the family room...she will take a big mouth full and then drop it on the carpet in the family room and eat it in there with us! LOL Then go back for more and repeat this over and over till she is full! :lol-sign:

Now treats....Man you will be lucky to get your fingers back in time! ROFL!

Major Raw meat or the Canidae...he eats FAST!!!

Mine all eat at a good speed. Not too fast, and not too slow. Tango's the slowest, as she doesn't really care for kibble, but they all finish between 5-10mins. Before I started adding water to their food, Tango would take forever to eat. She enjoys it much more with water, as do the others.

Should have named Mary Hoover. For that is how she eats, i don't see where she even gets to taste it. Victor on the other hand is a sip and see...take a bite, lounge, romp, pass the bowl again, maybe another bite.

rah has never been fed kibble (on purpose) but he steals food at work and from other peoples dogs, and he finishes those in about 15-20 seconds.

he eats raw, and i feed him mostly completely frozen. it takes him about 20 minutes to eat a 4 lb chicken that is straight out of the freezer and frozen solid.

rah is a dobervacuum.
