Meaning, when you're driving down the road, without a dog, do people know you're a dog person?

I have a license plate on the front that's a pic of Smidgen doing agility. On the back, there's a "BARK" bumper sticker and a license plate holder that says "My Smooth Collie is Smarter Than Your Honor Student". Plus two large crates that are permanently in the back of the vehicle and of course, the nose smudges.

So, how doggy are you? :p

I have a magnetic "ribbon" on the back that says "I <heart> my doberman"

My front license plate is PITTSBURGH STEELERS baby! hahahaha

So I suppose an observant person would notice, but not too doggy. I was at the gas station the other day and this lady had a fairly new SUV with doggy things all over the back, everything from I <heart> agility to loving her border collies, LOL......and two large crates inside. So ya, it was pretty obvious what her hobbies might be :D

Well, there's always a little brindle head resting on the back seat - does that count?

Other than that, there's really nothing unless you dug through the piles of stuff inside to find the folded up soft crate, leashes, collars, bags of treats, clickers, and of course the many empty plastic bags.

I do have a few bumper stickers from my old truck (I put all stickers on magnets so I can remove them with no damage) that haven't made there way onto the new vehicle.

"Losing faith in humanity, one person at a time"

"Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle" (bonus points for those of you who immediately know where that quote is from)

And the only dog one
"Balls are for fetching. Please have your pets neutered."

Um yeah. LOL If they don't see the crates inside the big full size white van, they will see on the rear several rescue magnets (one says "Ban the deed, not the breed"), a small Rottweiler silhouette magnet that sits over my license plate which reads N2ROTTS.

I also have a small oval magnet that reads Redyre Rottweilers with a Rottie silhouette on it.

If I am loading anything from the rear, with back doors open, people will see my collection of collars, leashes, harnesses, etc, on a rack on the back door. I'm pretty darn obvious.

:D

None. I have the most un-dogfriendly car ever! (It's a little mitsubishi eclipse, where Lucy struggles to find a way to stick her head out the window or sit on the front seat without falling down.

My license plates are for the University of Maryland, and there's a "Terp Alum" window cling. Nothing dog-ish though. I did see a magnet I was tempted to get that said "Proud owner of a rescue dog!" but I dunno...I don't really like covering my car with stuff.

I have nothing on the car, but the nose smudges and like others said, the inside is full of leashes, toys, etc. No crate but a doggy seatbelt semi-permenantly attached to the passanger belt. And 90% of the time if I'm in the car or parked for less than 10 minutes, Milo's curled up on the front seat or climbing around exploring.

Not yet but I want to get some magnetic bumper stickers!!! If you open the door though you'll see between the seats is full of husky hair, plus the blanket that resides on the back bench unless I have humans sitting back there. I also have 2 collars and 2 traffic leads that stay in the truck all the time. in the back of the truck I have a crate that stays there.

the other night I was driving home from a training run with the boys. The top half of the back was open for the sled runners to stick out. Skel was in the back in the crate so people could see his ears and his eyes poking over the back door. Ronan had his head hanging out the window on one side of the truck and OC had his nose out the other side. Oh ya and Skel was howling his delight of a good run too! LOL I think the whole town knew I was out that day!

I left out the fact I have my rear seats removed (I have a Pontiac Aztek, so it's like a van), and of course, lots of dog hair back there! Somehow I manage to keep the front seats hair -free so I can have a human passenger in nice clothes!

Nose smudges on the back windows of my Subaru Outback wagon. They ride in crates except when we just go a couple of miles around the lake to the hiking trails. Dog hair that won't vaccum out along the sides in the back where there is carpet. I even find dog hair on my dashboard and the dogs don't ride in the front. It just floats around. There is often a crate in the car if I'm going any distance so that's a clue. LOL. Yes, my car is very doggie. There's no hiding it.

I don't drive without all dogs in crates, so there are three crates in the van. I could fit 4...but the air travel crate never came out last time. My tack box is in there, and it shouldn't be because I'd bet some things have frozen. But, I'm lazy. I have food, a portable shower, power converter should I need a touch up, :rofl1: probably some ribbons, plastic bags, extra blankets, sun screen shades, paper towels, toys, leashes, my dolly, a chair, a grooming table, um let's see...a whelping book, a journal, batteries, shower bucket, a scrabble game (not dog related), a book, extra gloves and socks and my scraper. I think that covers most of it.

Considering, I haven't been to many shows lately, I find this hilarious.

Edit: And the I love Skye's magnet from the Skye Terrier Foundation. I use to have a breed sillouhette but it came of in a car wash, I'll assume.

I still have nose prints on the inside of my back windows from when we moved to Texas almost 2 years ago :rofl1:

I used to have paw print license plate holders but they obscured the new plates a bit and I had to remove them.

That's it for doggy, but I've got a "Got Ferrets?" decal on my back window :D

I have a frame for my back plate that says "Save a life, spay and neuter" and a Doberman head magnet. There is also a crate in the back and a bunch of tack strewn around. I used to have a "I love my Australian Shepherd" ribbon, but it now lives on Zoom's car.

Mine isn't doggy at all. There's no traces of dog anything, anywhere lol. The plates read R3D HOT WHEELGAP. There's a red VW T4T decal on the back window. I've got two red NGP decals... But it's a very red car. And Rumor's red. That counts for something, right? :D

My plates have skulls on them... I wanted sheltie agility plates but ultimately decided against it. I'm still looking for the perfect vinyl decal to put on my window, but I want one. I should have bought the one I loved when I first saw it, but thought that was just silly. Now I'm mad at myself because I haven't seen it again, LOL.

If you opened my trunk you'd be greeted by the soft-sided crate folded down in the back. I always put it away right after we go somewhere (I'm obsessed about having my car clean... I won't even let my mom leave a pair of sunglasses sitting around in the car. NO.) so unless we were driving out somewhere with Auggie IN the crate, you wouldn't see it!

I've got a "Don't Shop, Adopt" magnet and then Hillside gave me her "I Love my Australian Shepherd" ribbon magnet...the nose prints all over. There's no mistaking it for anythign else when you open the door though and I'm not just talking dog hair. I have no backseats, there's a waterbucket rigged up in the back, the chuck-it and a pile of dog towels, along with mats to lay on and usually a gallon of water as well. All the toys fit into the sidewells so they're not out rolling around.

I used to have a crate in the bed of my truck, but that got brought inside for Tempie. If you look through the windshield, you'll see a collar, leash, and seat belt harness on the dashboard. That's about it. I've got toys and stuff on the floor in the back, but it's buried under all the other junk in there.
