Magpie is not OK with children. It took a lot of work for her to be non-reactive towards children, and I would never trust her around one. She is fine with "older" kids, at least in the 10+ range. It seems entirely height associated.

Smalls and Jack are pleased as punch to be pet by any one. Jonas prefers not to interact with any one, but is entirely indifferent. Shambles and Elsa regard kids as they do every one else- hardly worth the time unless food is involved.

Pip does not care for them, they are Not to Be Trusted. To be fair, he feels that way about a lot of strangers. But he's actually been exceptionally tolerant of them on the few occasions when some artful dodger has gotten around my body blocking. Once I almost had a heart attack when a little kid came out of nowhere at the park and hugged him before I could even react (and before I learned to be extremely witchy and yell at kids) but he just stood there looking miserable. And a couple of times with respectful wee ones at family gatherings he just keeps his distance and does his thing, but doesn't really react to them otherwise.

Squash likes to watch them before deciding to engage. And he is sometimes hesitant about kids who are at that crazy pre-teen age depending on how they approach him (but hey, so am I). But generally the wee ones he ADORES.

Maisy loves everyone, always, forever.

Charlotte is a dream with kids, as she is with people in general. She LOVES them. Ma'ii is pretty good to, though he's not as tolerant of abuse (which no dog SHOULD tolerate). I have to keep a close eye on him around young, unruly kids.

All my current dogs are ok with kids and people, ESP buddy he loves. EVERYONE. Josefina is too but she knows when in public to ignore people who call to her and whatever because in her mind she is "working" so to speak lol.

Buddy is shameless (though not rude about it) if someone called him to jump in their car he would lol.

I am the one with the issue with rude people and rude kids, I did a lot of work with Josefina when she was a puppy, I did a lot of "startling" her from behind and such like many people and kids do so she doesn't mind it in fact she's all like " oh someone with a treat!" Lol but it doesn't mean I like it or the next dog will be so forgiving.

Aiden is ok with them. He mostly just ignores them. But I really don't trust him with them, so I usually just keep him away from kids.

Carma and Tulah both love kids. I think it is mostly due to the fact that they were both whelped in a house with children around.

Belle loves kids. She turns into a big wiggly ball
Of happy whenever the neighbor kids
Come near the fence and she has always been fantastic with Hannah.

Beezer can take it or leave it. He likes any attention from anyone but he's more aloof with kids but never aggressive. Hannah, he was kid of scared of her when she was younger... Like he didn't understand this thing that cried and had trouble wLking lol. NOW that she is old enough to share
Food and give scratches... He loves her and follows her around. He doesn't approve of shenanigans that make her scream and he'll come running to bark in protest if we are doing something that makes her scream. He trusts us but sometimes he's just not sure if what we are
Doing is kosher lol. The one thing he has ALWAYS done since she was a baby is come and lay by her bed at night during bedtime routine. I think he likes to pray with her LOL

Even though all mine are good no matter what (they will startle but they won't act aggressively) but the margin for error is just too great: like of they accidentally scratch a kid or something or scare them, with all the crazy, she happy people these days I would rather err on the side of caution and be that bitchy person who is like "get the **** away from my dog!"
