Lettuce, shredded carrots, that red cabbage stuff, cucumbers, and ranch, ceaser, or thousand island dressing. Sometimes I'll put cheese on it, but not often.

Love it!

Mix greens with balsamic vinaigrette, diced tomatoes and avocado, topped with crumbed feta cheese and croutons and grilled chicken. Yummm! I could eat this everyday and not get tired of it.

I usually like lettuce which is vital to a salad, but i usually only have it included in starters in restuarants.

Oh, I'll make a salad out of just about any sort of fresh greens and vegetables or fruits and dressings out of all sorts of odds and ends I can scrounge from the fridge and the cupboard. I rarely make the same thing twice.

I think I could live on Cobb Salads with alternating the shrimp, chicken or beef .

I hate bleu cheese, onion & bell pepper. So as long as a salad doesn't contain these, I'll be fine. Oh, the dressing must be placed separately on the side, not directly on top of my salad :)

Salads are awesome

Salads are one of my favorite meals. I like a good Greek Salad with mixed greens, kalamata olives, feta cheese, and pepperocinis. I love my veggies!

Tossed? :D I actually got that one... I am shocked Renee didn't have a comment. ;) (aww maybe I missed it)........LOL

Anyway I like my salad like I like my men...loaded! (Can be taken many ways :D )

Start with a fresh bed of lettuce on a large plate.....some chopped tomatos, black olives, mushrooms, carrots, radishes (I don't like onions or peppers).....then on to the meats... some grilled chicken, some crumbled bacon, some chopped up fried ham... the most important part... some hand cut homemade french fries added to the top of the salad then generously sprinkled with melted sharp cheddar cheese....and the dressing has to be homemade ranch, made with buttermilk. Mmmmmmmmmm... I am getting hungry!!!

This would not be a "salad" for someone concerned about calories. :D

Didn't we have a thread about fries and salads many many moons ago? I don't think anyone had good things to say....but I am hooked anyway.
