My computer room is across from my kitchen and the door to the fenced in yard . Ollie never barks to go out , but will tap the door . Glad that my hearing is still good ! I hear a click and see him waiting .

Blaze will either go sit by the door. And if you get up to let him ut, he starts doing little spins.

If Im in the basment he will come down with a look like "OMFG TIMMY fell in the well, HURY HURRY we need to save him" start doing spins and run a few feet and bark lol

We trained Xena to ring a bell we hung by a shoelace on the door knob. Of course, if you don't take her out soon after she rings it, she gets, um, insistent (have had to replace the shoelace ater she brought me the bell).

I'm psychic. It's really not too far from the truth. Meg doesn't stand at the door, or bark, or scratch, or anything. She sort of wanders by the door. The first time my mother saw me catch it, she was like "THAT'S her signal to let her out?"

But honestly, I doubt I let her out more than twice a week or so. She goes everywhere with me, and goes to the bathroom when we are already outside. She almost never asks to go out at home.

Keeda goes to the door and taps it. If I don't open it she taps a little bit harder, I still don't open the door, she finds me, walks me to the door and then taps it. It's actually kinda funny.

Midget just sits there... he hasn't quite gotten that the door needs to be opened by a person.

I have a bell on my door as well, but usually they will just come and stare at me and I know what they want. If I'm engrossed in a tv show or a book, then they ring the bell.

Xena just rang the bell.

She actually rang it and came over to stare at me as if to say, "Hey! Didn't you hear the bell ring?"

Spook barks in your face until you let him out. Misha will bark and run towards the door. Marq just holds it until one of the other two need to go and will bark to go outside. Those are the onlyl three of the dogs that are 100% housetrained. The rest will go on the back porch if you don't take them out regularly. The funny thing is, there is a drain on the back porch(and its cemented) and many of the female dogs have learned to simply squat right over the drain like it is a toilet! No mess to clean up! LOL

Maggie nudges me until I let her out. Sometimes she nudges me and just wants attention, though, but I verify by saying "Do you want to go outside?" And if she does, then she runs towards the door wagging her tail.

Brenna will give one howl where ever she is in the house, then once you come to her she will head for the door. If you don't come right away or don't hear her, she will howl again and come find you.

And if no one is home(Happened only once) she will go to the kitchen and poop on the floor.

My buddy will just walk and run back and forth between someone and the door and when we ignore him for a minute, expect a loud whine.
