How did you find chazhound?

I was searching for dog forums. This was the first place I tried and I never looked for anymore.

I was googling for agility and one of the posts came up. i liked chazhound a lot so i joined.

I joined a little over a year ago when my golden, Eli, was diagnosed with Lymphoma. A friend gave me the site's name. It was a rough start with a certain hateful member who's no longer here, but I stayed on. Eli since passed, but I love this place...

It's amazing what a search will do isn't it? lol. I must admit I'm not new to forums, but I have been on some shockers before. Problems range from nastiness to people claiming they know it all, to treating newbies like imcompetent idiots and scaring them away. I'm ashamed to say a couple I've been to like this were essentially Australian forums, but of course welcomed everyone.

I love being all the way down under and sharing, my knowledge and experiences with people from all over the world. Chaz I've found has a wonderful unjudgemental feel about it. I know people do get het up if its something they do believe in. But after my experience on the aformentioned forums, I will never look back and I'm so glad to be here

EliN lead me here when she was so hurt from some responses and I knew she needed support ...( that's what Mommys do ! ) It wasn't long before we learned of " friends" here and we both were hooked on Chaz !! I love the site and the many avenues it takes.... only complaint I'm now addictived ??

How could anyone not like EliNHunter. You are always so polite and nice even when you are voicing your opinion about something you feel strongly about. I have always enjoyed your posts and even though we don't talk much I like you lol

It seems that most of us found this through a search or through someone who found it through a search lol devine intervention :O
