How can posts be edited ????

I would like to edit one of my posts, to add something more, and can't do it.

Once someone responds to a post, I think you need a mod to help you edit it. You can always put a reply to your own post with more info.

I think you only have so long that you can edit, but if you can there is a button on the bottom right of your post that says edit, it has scissors on it.

Pretty sure you have an hour, after that the edit button vanishes.

I think its only a half hour that you have before the button says bye bye.

some boards, you can edit years later (I have-on ProBoards) others like PHP (this one) Invision or Zeta, have time limits that I believe are set by the admin of the board. I got into trouble (can you imagine that) on an Invision forum, and my ability to edit was completly taken away. I don't go to that place any more. they were all kind of off the wall. I was always out of step.
