Last night I went out for a few hours and asked my father to look after my 4 1/2 month old puppy. All he was supposed to do was take him out every couple of hours (I was only gone for about 4 or 5) and then put him back in his crate). Well he decided to let him roam around in the house and he ended up pooping in the living room. Then this morning when I let him out, he peed right next to his food! He hasn't done this stuff since the day after I got him. Is it possible that he's forgot his training? Do I have to start over?

Oh, you know....they do this. And 4 1/2 months old isn't very old. Yup...just watch him every second while he's loose in the house, take him out often, after naps, playtime, eating, drinking and watch for little signs. Praise when he does it outside and don't punish him if he slips up. He'll get it down pat again. I'm sure.
