I watch it on occasion, got to see part of it tonight. I'm actually an American Idol addict but I missed AI and House is on immediately afterwards. Seems like a cool show, wish I'd get the chance to actually sit down and watch the whole thing. :p

No, Smkie, I didn't notice the Parvo Virus. That's weird....I liked the one that was on tonight, though. That was great...Copper! Who woulda thought?

Rip, did you see Constantine's performance??? OMG he sucked! I loved the song he sang, and last week I really loved him, but tonight....It just didn't work. That song is not supposed to be all choppy like that. I'm a huge Nickelback fan, LOL. Thank gawd he's entertaining, otherwise, his whole performance would've been a waste.

Smkie, yep, I'm addicted. :D

Purr, I just saw the very end of it (gonna go watch the rerun in a few mins) with Scott's performance and then the little 'snippets' but from what I saw... My GAWD he did terribly! That little clip was heinous, I'm not sure I want to watch the whole thing!

I missed it too the first time. Daylight savings time is still affecting me because AZ time never changes, yet the rest of the country does. Shows start an hour earlier than I'm used to now. (Ex: I was used to watching american idol at 6pm, now it starts at 5 and i miss it regularly)

LOL. What song was it that he sang? My memory is so horrible, I know I've heard it before but can't remember the name of it.

Um......geez. I have no clue. I know the song, and I really like it, and I know that Nickelback sings it, but.....Man, I can't remember what it's called! That's gonna drive me crazy. Hang on, I've gotta find it, now. I'll post back when I find it.

I think that'd be Bo, I really like him too. He's probably my favorite out of the guys.

I'm going to catch the rerun of it now.. and of course since I don't have DirecTV in my room I have to leave the computer for that. Be back later. ;)

How you remind me!!! Dang, I'm sooo bad at remembering song names LOL. I knew what freaking album it's on, and I couldn't remember the name. ROFL. It's such a great song; it didn't deserve to be butchered like that! I was really expecting something good, too, because Constantine was so good last week, and I love that song. Ah, well....

Whoa talk about two very different roles. That's cool!

I saw that performance Purr and eeeeew. If anyone deserves to go based on these performances it's Constantine.

House played on Stuart Little?! OMG, I never noticed that before. Did you see Flight of the Phoenix (sp?)? He was in that one, too, and his character was just like Gregory House. Had they not given him a different name, I would've thought it was the same guy LOL :D

Last night was a good one. It starts off with this Skitsofrenic (I know that's spelled horribly wrong) woman, and her kid sitting in a government offices building. The woman starts hearing voices; "you killed the cat. Cut off it's head". Then, she thinks a glass frog is talking to her, saying "the cat was first, now it's your turn" and she starts yelling at it, telling it to shut up.

Anyhow, she gets a sharp pain in her calf. A blood clot. A piece of the clot breaks off, and lodges in her heart. So, of course, they rush her to the hospital, where House has to figure out what was wrong with her.

She starts screaming at them "no blood no blood", when they tried to take a blood sample from her, and House figured out that it was because, she thought she'd bleed to death. She was Vitamin K deficient, which thins your blood, and, without Vitamin K, you become deficient in some other vitamin (vitamin C, maybe?) which causes clotting. So, when she was nicking herself with her razor, while shaving her legs, it was making her bleed quite a bit.

As it turns out, she had a cancerous tumor in her liver (she was an alchoholic), and she had Wilson's Disease, where her body was storing too much copper. They had her on psyc meds, which were making her crazy. She was Vitamin K deficient, because all she'd eat were frozen hamburgers.

It was a good show :D

Rip, Constantine definatly deserves to go, based on that performance. Last week, he was so good too....oh well  If it's not him, it's Scott. He got all pitchy. Should be interesting tonight.

when they were searching thru viruses on more than one episode..i sat up when when he wrote out parvo virus. When i was steeped in sick puppies..i got sick too..sicker than i have ever been in my life, only it ws respitory instead of intestinal. Then i had a friend that said a nurse on a military base had come down with parvo virus..and was hospitilized..guess what..her's was respitory too. I told my mom i thought i had parvo virus and she said no one is going to believe u, u better stop saying that. The virus began as a feline and mutated..so it made since that it could pick up another mutation. Watch for it in the reruns..they write it on the board...one poor little beagle puppy and i were in bed, both of us wishing we were dead. i would feel him begin to heave and hold his little tiny body over the edge of the bed into the pail, clean him up, cover the pail (gack) and we would shiver together. we were both so so sick. He was one of my four last successes. If i had known how inbred he was..how incredibly stupid he would grow up..how damaging his life would be to everyone around him, i might have had him put to sleep...dang it when people let their dogs breed like that..he was (i found out later) a sister-brother inbred second generation. He knew to do one thing..and that was bark. COnstantly, I think he had about one brain cell inside of his head. He is the one in the picture in my gallery May the circle be unbroken. Anyway ....back to House. IT is a good show for all us curbside medical detectives.
