Yup quarter horses are the most popular barrel racers out there right now and justifiabley so. Only thing to watch when purchaseing a quarter horse is the bloodlines. Impressive lines tend to carry the hypp gene so stay clear of that or make sure they are tested hypp negative as your third choice has been.

I used to bomb around on a paint, Amigo, his mom was a quarter horse and his dad was an app.......he had paint colours and was easily registered as a paint. So paint is more colour then anything these days.

Are you asking me for help? If yes then please tell me what you want a horse for? Barrel racing, jumping, pleasure trails.....so I can look at the potential.

OK Here goes

#1 Milo $20 000

nice horse, suitable for what you want to do however if you look at the jumping pictures, he is kinda sloppy with his front legs. May not do so well in the hunter ring but seems to have alot of jump.
Agreed very expensive for what you are getting.

#2 Diamond Blu Revenue $2800

quarter horse and a yearling so it will be awhile before you can jump at all, [3 years min]
hunter and trail should be good however be advised that some quarter horses do not have the scope to do the big jumps. Not all, I had a brilliant quarter horse who easily handled 5 foot jumps but not all can or will.

#3 Riley $3000 [Smith Falls is close about 2 hours for me so I can go check out this one for you]

Road safe: their is your pleasure trail horse
3years old and free jumping 2 feet: their is your hunter and jumper

#4 Earl $2500 [Rescue]

due to knee injury not suitable for jumping

#5 Rohan $800 [Rescue]

heavey, arthritic No indoor riding there goes half your show season
stay away from these sort of health problems at least for what you want. This is a great horse for someone who only wants to ride in the nice weather and only outside.

#6 Silver Blue Conclusion $3000

good pleasure horse

no mention of the jumping or hunter in the suitability, makes me wonder. Bit expensive for what you want and what she is.

Look here for what you want, I know this guy very well and he is great and honest

Awesome if he is not what you want give Paul Garrison a call he is great, alittle rough to talk to but he is a great guy.

I found a few on his site that would be good too.
