I was abit concerned when I saw detenations, but I get it now, typo. Boy would that not be interesting to detinate a honeymoon.

We went to northern Ontario to a nice quiet cabin and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. Did some walking trails and horse trail riding, swimming, just plain relaxed.

I know this may sound funny but what about Tennesee to visit the smokey mountains or visiting Gatlinsburg Tennesee is alot of fun and it is really pretty there it is more of the "country" scene but there is alot of stuff to do or even the grand ol state of Michigan there is alot of touristy towns in Michigan ecspecially in the northern parts of the state on both sides of the state there is Mackinac Isaland, Seashell City, The Soux, Holland Michigan (like a little Holland), and the sand dunes by Holland that is what my husband and I did for our honey moon we traveled the state of Michigan and stayed at camp grounds rather than at motels we had alot of fun and we were gone for 10 days

Where ever you go just have alot of fun it is one vacation you will always remember

yah michigan!! seriously though, MI gets ignored sometimes i think...

depending on where and when you go, MI is absolutely BEAUTIFUL...i noticed someone said stay away from the city life...id have to agree to that..unless you really want that...so much hustle and bustle, city vacations can be really stressful, and you dont want that on your honeymoon!!

mackinac island in MI is a popular place for honeymooners...no cars allowed...just bikes and horse and buggy carriages :) i dunno if shadow is allowed, but im sure there is a place there that allows dogs.

if you are going in the fall...you have to go to northern MI...the leaves changing color are just breathtaking...im awed by it like, every year, lol, it never gets old...

northern MI is full of amazing (and romantic!) destinations...the sand dunes are tons of fun...tons of cute little towns to see, fishing ports, boating to little islands, sunset boat rides...ok im done :p if you are considering MI though, lemme know for sure!!

I'd suggest San Francisco - especially over LA, and a trip through the Napa wine country.
I have to agree with that. San Francisco is a truly gorgeous city, and very unique. Spend some time to take the trip up Highway 1 to Monterey. It's completely gorgeous.

Yuck, I love it down south from here. There is so much to see and do. We are so centrally located to some of the most beautiful spots in the US.

Here are a few more to make your day

sorry if this kind of post bugs anyone, but im just after some suggestions.

My partner (lee) and I have just booked a venue for our wedding (25.05.07), I know it seems far away, but u have to book early. I cant quite belive we're doing it! Im so exited about planning it all! Any way, I want some suggestions for a honeymoon. We were thinking maybe NY or LA. We really dont fancy the whole sun type holiday. We're from the UK so any trips to USA are gona be really long haul, both of us have visited a fair few places in Europe, and its a bit too local, we'd prefer somewhere further out. Preferably a dog friendly destination for a staffie, as we really wouldn't like to leave shadow behind. Im gutted enough she wont be at our wedding.

Any suggestions?

Or any suggestions for thing we can do if we do go to NY or LA, I've been to NY when I was 17, god that seems ages ago, (im now 22), and i loved it, went to ellis ilsand (it was a college trip to NY, we were studying race and ethnicity, thus the trip to ellis island, although i really enjoyed it), I went up Emprie state buliding (night time) it was fab, and of course central park, I actually got lost in there, was wandering around for 2 hrs!

Any imput would be really appreciated!
