So my friend threw a house party the other day, and in typical Ann Arbor fashion, a rather grungy, kinda scary looking old homeless person decides to pop a squat on a random chair on the front lawn.

Well, unlike most of the homeless that are around, this guy was pretty with it, and really nice...and go figure with all the buzzed college students there, some people start talking to him.

Well, it turns out his name is T. Casey Brennan and he used to be a pretty famous comic book writer until (according to him), he was too liberal and got blacklisted by the comic book industry.

Anyways, it was just really sad to realize how quickly your life can turn around. Granted, I don;t know exactly why he is homeless, but the fact that he used to be pretty well known, and is now roaming the streets is scary.

He is even on Wikipedia (and there are pics of him) ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T._Casey_Brennan

well, guess I can say I met a celebrity???

That's not really surprising...
Look at all the people who spend well more then what they bring in...

Mike Tyson earned over 300 million in his career and he's been bankrupt for several years.

The people that have lots of money seem to spend it like it's going to give them the plague if they have savings.

Reminds me of that episode of the Simpsons where Bart runs into the orginal creator of Itchy and Scratchy and he's a homeless person because the guy that's running Itchy and Scratchy now his dad stole the homeless guy's ideas and put him out of business. Then later the homeless guy sues Itchy and Scratchy for 800 billion dollars and wins because he had an orginal Itchy and Scratchy film...although Bart and Milhouse burnt it up on accident, but they bought an orginal signed animation cell from Comic Book Guy which proved the same thing. So then Itchy and Scratchy are broke and they stop airing the cartoons but Chester (homeless guy) won't invest back into itchy and scratchy because he has his gold house and his rocket car and he doesn't need anything else. So Bart and Lisa figure out a way to save Itchy and Scratchy and just as they go to do that, the Itchy and Scratchy guy is thanking Lester and Eliza (Bart and Lisa ripoffs) for saving Itchy and Scratchy.

LOL, I like that episode, funny.
