Sorry I'm not on as much, my friends and those I haven't met yet. But I've moved into a dialup only area and can only take so much when it takes 4 minutes to upload a thread. ANYWHO... here is/was my saga:
My husband had a birthday party last weekend I through and many gifts were of the "old timer" gag-like-genre. There was a big ole bag full of all the stuff and my Clutter Butt, I mean "husband", just let it stay in a corner in the living room. Well, lo and behold Hunter (yella fella lab) appeared to be quite bored today while we were at work. He did, let's just say, a little "investigation". Well, after rootin' tootin' through the whole bag, he appears to have pulled out a box of denture fizzy things. Totally ripped the box apart but didn't eat any of the entombed fizzy tablets (thank GOD). BUT... it gets better... SOMEONE had thrown in a BIG OLD BOX OF DRIED PRUNES into the birthday melee. And, yep... you guessed it... ole Hunter found 'em! He'd ripped open the box and found the little juicy morsels encased in their sealed plastic packet. I see an obvious fang puncture into the plastic packet. However, the bag of prunes is left UNTOUCHED on the CREAM colored carpet in the living room! PRAISE THE LORD that Hunter discovered he "may not LIKE prunes"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He left them alone!!!!! YAY!!!!! God help me if he hadn't... :yikes:
