I don't blame him for refusing that. Shrimp goes horribly with poop!

:rofl1: I'm glad you guys find more humour in this than I do! He's eating sticks he pulled out of Zero's fur right now. Really Holden?

ETA: Why don't you just muzzle him on walks?
I have tried, and while it was hilarious how he couldn't quite grasp why nothing would fit in his mouth anymore, the absolute terror a big, black dog with a muzzle generated from the public wasn't working out so well in my favour. Step 1: Teach maniac berner to NOT want to maul strangers with love and then maybe I can try that again. I have taken to giving him a marrow bone at the start of the walk, which he will usually hold for most of the duration and thus doesn't eat as much forest junk. Won't work out very well in trails traveled by other dogs a lot though.

ROFL!
By the way, I want that picture on your wall.
I am an arteest! My chalkboard cow with wig (Moolissa from Bob's Burgers) can be bought for 8 small payments of $29.95! :D

You know, the only thing I can really muster out of myself in those moments is a very strong sad face and maybe a whining sound. The raw, painful disappointment I have towards that dog really doesn't allow me to look at him in any way, let alone take productive action.

What is wrong with your dog? That is the most horrible thing I've ever seen! Not taking the shrimp? Put that dog down now! He is insane!

J/k, but seriously.... shrimp? I can understand the poo eating, no matter where it comes from, because dogs and their poo, human or animal, Maybe the human poo had shrimp in it and he didn't want anymore shrimp?

Excuse me, *throws up* more pictures of this goofy dog please.

oh, I remember one hike in the woods where Traveler rolled around in what turned out to be human waste....not good, not good at all! Wilson decided to try poop eating for a short while--noooooo way I am putting up with that, but he can't be off leash anyway so that is how I dealt with that, and now he does not have such a desire anymore. Baxter...well, he thinks the bunnies leave him little hor devours to eat.

AHAHA LOVE the 'do not want' pics

He sounds just like Sport, only Sport would inhale the shrimp first. If you hold it out to him he eats it, edible or not.
This is either one of my dogs as well. Minus the poop-eating part. Luke used to eat his own poop if he had an accident in the house when he was a puppy, but he eats vomit.
It doesn't even have to be his own. It doesn't even have to be Ophies.

But, yeah, if you hold it in front of either one of my dogs, they'll eat it. In record-breaking timing, too.

LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE the photos of the Holden and the shrimp. Those photos are incredibly awesome with insanely brilliant captions!! <3<3<3

And you can keep your human feces eating dog. kthnx. :lol-sign:

Oh c'mooooon. He comes with a collar and leash AND BONUS, you don't have to feed him because he finds his own food anywhere! Plastic product packaging, cat litter (clean OR dirty), stray rat food... so easy!

He will normally eat everything you offer him, which I why I was so enraged when he refused to eat the shrimp! He hoovered it up then managed to gag it out when he didn't like it. Really? REALLY? Ophie, Luke, Sport, Holden - they can all just rid the world of anything remotely waste/garbage-like.

Does he also get into the toilet and slurp up what children have left in the toilet because they haven't flushed it?

Because, yeah, given the opportunity (or the fact that someone didn't just forget to flush, but they left the toilet lid up and the door open) Ophie will gladly take care of it.

What's really nifty is watching my two bond when she comes out of the bathroom (because neither one of us will TOUCH her after she's slurped pee out of the toilet which only happened once) because Luke has to lick her face clean.

ROFL. Milk mustaches ... $h|t beards? The ultimate flavor saver. Ok sorry.

Still, I love his shrimp-denial expressions.
