About the more specific, besides stated earlier, I cant really nail it down except, I want a well rounded dog with high trainability. Thats what im saying, there is so much choice.

As for handling, I have handled and trained alot of breeds so I am more than capable.

Hmm.. There -is- a ton to choose from... I would tend to agree with Zoom about the Aussie too, that'd be an excellent choice.
I guess since there are so many possibilities, you can narrow it down to looks or personality preference. Do you prefer a herding breed? Working breed? Terrier? How about coat length?

I'd agree with Grammy that if you're not really picky, why not adopt a shelter dog? that'd be a good option too, IMO.

I agree, also..... Shelter dogs (mixed or purebred) are so very willing to please! I think it's because they know what you've rescued them from (the loneliness, uncertainty, etc.), and want to "repay" you in loyalty, companionship and love.
I have to keep myself from going to shelters because my heart melts so easily when I see their eyes...... I'd try to bring them all home!
