I hate high heels. Small ones are ok. I really couldn't care less about what people think of my shoes anyway :D

I can't wear heels unless they're short and chunky. I broke a heel of a pair off shoes once from just walking in them........okay, so maybe I was running but still....

I love heels. I don't get to wear them too often now, but I have a massive collection of boots (pumps are pretty, but I'm fondest of strappy sandals or boots.) And actually what Anna said about walking on the ball of your foot is correct, if you are wearing a shoe with a slimmer heel, leaning back on your heel when you walk is a good way to stumble, since you usually are not as nimble with your entire foot flattened than you are with your heels up.

puck it is your leg muscles..the calves that are thinned and elongated not your butt:p IF i wore heels i would be 6 ft tall or worse:eek: So i was lucky and was able to stay with the smaller heels.
Wish i could hear you play Pixie! Are you an alto? My daughter sings and i would arrange songs on the piano to suit her key. She has a deep rich voice. We had a lot of good times her singing and my playing:)
I am an alto! Lol thats funny.

I don't like to wear clogs , but found a Soft Spot shoe that has a square toe and a wedge heel. I got a pair for summer and one for winter and really need to look into more colors. I basically ear my Dexter loafer type shoe with shorts, slacks and jeans .

I hate them also but I own a pair of happy hooker shoes :) they are loafer style with a very big heel so I can wear them, thus my happy hooker shoes :)

LOL I actually wore my knee high boots today :D lol and I got hit on haha I made him blush and then he asked my boss later if I was spoken for lol she said "yes but there are a lot of women in the office that aren't that think you are a hottie" lol

My fav pair of boots I have right now though have the thin heel and they are kinda like suede and they are black and have a silver piece of "ribbon" fed through them up the outside of the boot and a little bow at the top they are nice

I never liked clogs much either, Grammy - until I got rid of a nasty pair of heel spurs by wearing them!

Heels are an acquired taste. They look good, but are murder on your feet. Go for a simple strappy heel, as oppossed to a solid shoe. The straps don't squeeze your feet into weird shapes, and are much more comfortable.

Yeah, Tanya has some of those high heel, knee high boots...

 LOL!

Gawd, my husband is the same way. I have to wear dress shoes to the office. But my husband like to "help" me shop for them. He always tries to pick out these insane stilletto heels, usually attatched to tight knee-high boots or skinny threadlike straps.

I finally got mad and said that I couldn't spend the day walking around on something like those.

To which he got a big grin and said "These boots aren't made for walking..."

Funny how you always do seem to end up having to walk somewhere when you've got them on though, isn't it . . . ;)

I've always had a thing for ankle straps - I've got a closet full of them
