does anyone on here play hide and seek with their dog? i play hide and seek with my pup for the last couple of days, and it seem that my puppy really enjoy playing this. i put a shirt over his head, so it would take him a couple of seconds to get out of it, and once he gets out of the shirt, he starts to look around for me as i'm hiding in a corner or something, and when he doesn't see me, he starts running around the house to look for me. First my room, then the kitchen, the garage, then my parents room, and when he finds me, i give him a lot of praise and the game starts over. i really enjoy playing this game with him, because he looks like he's lost. well, i just want to share this with you guys, and if you haven't played this game with your dog, maybe you should give it a try.

I used to do this, but it ended up having an adverse effect in Sawyer's agility class, because he was starting to think that every time he let me out of his sight I was going to disappear. So he quit going into the tunnels and that was bad.
It was fun while it lasted though. He would look everywhere except where I was.

when we 1st got Baby (our 1st dog) my mom play hide and seek w/ her... not your way but just like you would w/ a real baby. cover your face and say where _____?
She would say that to Baby and them mover her hands away and say there she is.
Baby would just cock her head to the side and then when my mom reappeared she'd be so happy.
my mom never had a dog and actually was always afraid of dogs but fell instantly in love w/ Baby. Baby was a rescue and just loved any attention. plus she didn't really know she was a dog so playing human games seemed to make sense to her.
they both were so cute to watch.
and shhhh don't tell her brother and sister but she's the favorite granddog.

I play hide and seek with Zander. He loooooves it! I put him in a sit/stay and run off and hide. Once I find a good hiding spot I'll say "Okay, come find me!" And he takes off like a bat outta hell looking for me. I think he just loves the praise he gets when he finds me! It's a great game 
We also hide the toys and play hide and seek with toys. Rosco only gets in on the hide and seek with toys if it's a tasty treat that's been hidden!
