My name is Crash, and I currently live by myself in Ontario, Canada. My dog Dre died in April. He was a great dane border collie mix surrendered by people who's border collie jumped the fence and got pregnant with the neighbour's great dane. He was only 7 weeks old at the time, and I brought him home when he turned 9 weeks old.
He would have turned 17 yesterday, pretty old for a dog that was part dane. Since then I've been looking for a new companion and have decided on a cat, now time is of the essense.

Good luck in finding a cat, i have two cats myself and although I'm picky (I like attention seekers with loud voices) I think cats are great! I'm sure you'll learn a lot here and I hope you enjoy the forum
