Hi you guys! Puppy news!

I bet you lot thought I was gone,did'nt you?
Nope,just busy,with the PUPPIES!!
Cookie whelped 6 lovely puppies into the world over a month ago!
4 boys and six girls,all doing fine,as is mommy!
I just wanted to thank you guys,for helping me out when I needed you most.
Here they are!:

I took you're advice and used a paddling pool for a whelping box.This is just a few days after.

I'm glad they're here and fine ! Very cute !!!!! Must add though that the wading pool is a bad idea as you NEED rails !! You're safe as the pups are old enough , but I've known people who have lost pups because of crushing .

March 29th - rescue dog is determined to be about 4 weeks pregnant. You had only had her a month or so, so that means she was still in season when you adopted her....

Now, yesterday, May 19th - dog had 6 (or was it 10) pups over a month ago. A month ago would have been April 19th, which means back in March she certainly was not 4 weeks along. By the first post about the pregnancy, one would assume she would have been due the end of April, beginning of May. Pups should only be two to three weeks old now. And why or why does the bitch in the picture have an IV shaving mark and bandage on her leg???

If these were my dogs and someone had stolen the photos off of my site and were claiming they were their own, I would be very, very angry!

Edited to add: I'm sorry Grammy, but photo theft off other people's websites is something I take very, very seriously, possibly because I have so very many photos on my website (that I pay for) that I took with my camera that I bought with my money. Photos of my dogs that I raised and took the time and money to show, photos of my puppies that I researched and raised... The picture of the mom and pups is very obviously stolen. It's even date-stamped with January 17, 2006.
