Hi. I'm very new to this type of thing. Never joined a site or been on a forum. My daughter had to hook me up on myspace and facebook. My cuz said I needed to check this out, so here I am. I have three wonderful dogs, Ruby Doo age 9 1/2, Moose age 5, and Mitzi age 3. I love my dogs dearly. I have always been an animal person from my first memory as a child. My whole life, I would rather be with animals than people, especially my teen-age years. My favorite pet is the cat. My husband of the last 18 yrs is severely allergic, even though he has tried to let me have them in the house, it's impossible. So I just try to enjoy others. Growing up I always had cats and dogs even though we couldn't afford vet care. They always had food, clean water, shelter, and lots of love. I am number 10 out of 12 kids, so money was always tight. I have 3 beautiful children. Daughter just graduated college and is putting here husband through grad school, son who just got back from his tour in Iraq, living in NY with his wife, and my baby boy who is 16 and getting his license. Well I guess I have rambled on enough.

My babies.

Ruby Doo is a 9 1/2 year old great dane. She is crippled and very old. She got hit by a semi when she was 6 months old. Several surgeries fixed her up. Doc didn't expect her to live past 3. She fooled him.
Moose is a fawn colored great dane. He was a gift to my son, Coty. He now belongs to me since Coty went into the army and they only allow dogs under 40lbs in apartments.
Mitzi is my pom. Her daddy was a fox pom and her mama was 1/2 long hair chihuahua and 1/2 baby doll pom. She weighed 1.2lbs when I brought her home. She then had trouble with seizures. After a few tests, they found out her liver shunt didn't close all the way like it was suppose to. Thought I was gonna lose her, but she (and her liver) grew just enough to compensate. She still has trouble if anyone feeds her ham, but I try to be careful about that. She was my gift to myself to deal with my kids leaving home, my MS, and my depression. If it weren't for my dogs, I wouldn't get out of bed most days.

I am trying to put pictures on here but I don't really know what I'm doing. Sorry
