Hey everyone!!! I just joined here. I recognize a few of you from other forums which is pretty cool.

A little about myself - I'm a 16year old named Ren from Southern Ontario and highly enjoy meeting new folks from all over the world! I'm a competitive dogsled race, a horseback rider, a dog trainer, a co-trainer for a horse ranch that rescues horses, a stage fighter (mainly with medievil weaponry), and actress and a soccerplayer.

A little about Trishamar's Kindred Spirit - well we just call him Oceano, or OC for short. He's a purebred Siberian HUsky and my pride and joy. He's also the wheel dog for my 3-dog dogsled team.

Me and OC

Oh wow 15!!! Do you do mid-long distance? In 2years I'll be moving to Alaska to work at a rescue racing kennel so that will be quite a bit different than my 3-dog sprints LOL

Yes I do midlong distance races. I grew up around it im the third generation in my families mushing and dog raising and breeding history. I competed in sprint races when I was a teenager :).

Welcome! You sure do sound like you're very active. Makes me tired just hearing about all you do. I've got a horse, also. The horse rescue sounds like it would be very rewarding. Your dog is beautiful.

I have a 22yr old Arabian. I've had him since he was 10 months old. Here's a pic of him and Duke together. I trained him myself but learned along the way, also. I used to transport rescue dogs for a while. It was fun because I got to see the good part of rescue, not the bad. I would take them to their foster homes.

Sorry for the sort hijack.

Ohhhh very pretty!!!! I love Arabs!!! We used to have a fleabitten grey named Lance that was actually boarded but the owner never came to see him (was lucky to see her 2 times a year!!!!!) and when she came she'd NEVER ride him, only feed treats and leave again. Also wouldn't let anyone else ride him (but we did anyways) so finally we rescued him from her and he's now been sold to a trainer with two girls because he is in desperate need of lots of one-on-one attention, not being shared with 25 other horses!

No worries about the hijack, it's my thread anyways LOL
