Hi! My name is Christine and I am the (most of the time) proud parent of a 4-1/2month old Lab X puppy named Lexie. I have never actually had a puppy before though I have had many other types of animals including cats/parrots/hamster/guinea pig/bunny etc...and even though everyone told me that a puppy was a huge amount of work, I honestly don't think you can really understand until you experience it yourself. My boyfriend and I purchased our own house last November (so we finally have a nice big backyard) and were just waiting for the right time to get a dog as he has been waiting for years to get one! (he grew up always having dogs). I had just finished school for the year (I'm studying Interior Design) so we happened upon Lexie and I thought it was an excellent time to get a puppy because I would have the whole summer to spend with her and training her! Well I am exhausted LOL but we absolutely love her to pieces and she is fantistic! The people we got her from said that she was lab/rotti (though the rotti is not that easy to see). If anyone else has any opinions of what she is mixed with I would love to know!!
So I am looking forward to meeting and talking with anyone who can help me in making Lexie's life and mine the best it can be!

Thanks so much!
Christine and Lexie

Hello & welcome to chaz. You have a very cute puppy. Maybe she has a bit of border collie in her, with the wavy hair on her back & the white chest. My new border collie pup is nearly 4.5 m/o too.

Hi and welcome to Chazhound! Lexie is adorable, I can see Rottie in the first picture but not sure what else she might be. Don't be afraid to ask any questions in regards to training your pup, that first year can be a HUGE strain on people. I'm sure you'll learn a lot here and I hope you enjoy the forum :D

Lexi is cutie-pie! Sounds like you're doing things right by having the time to spend with Lexi. I think you'll find this the perfect place to get your questions answered. It's a great group of dog owners. Welcome to Chaz!
