Hershey ALWAYS wants food! ahh!

My dog eats timberwolf, and doees very well. She also has a ton of toys in her toy box, so she is always playing with something when she is bored. When she wants something to snack on, she brings me her kong. LOL>

Is there a Costco near you? Costco's brand, Kirkland, is good (first ingredient chicken, etc) and is CHEAPER than the store brands. I have a feeling your parents wouldn't spring for a more expensive brand, but they might go for Kirklands.

Petsmart doesn't carry NB by us either, onlt Petco has the NB. I thought Petsmart carried it as well but they looked at me like I was crazy when I asked where it was.

He really doesn't look overweight, but sometimes its hard to tell. As Julie so smartly pointed out, your dog's adult weight is probably going to be a little bit more than Herschel's. Have you weighed him lately? What is his ideal weight?

Pet Supplies Plus now carries NB and Petco but not Petsmart.

ya, I am going to try, and get my mom to go to Speck's to get the Timberwolf, I have noticed Hershey is kind of slowing down... eek, not like him.. but that may be because he is in the house now, and he knows there is absolutely no running. I am going to try, and get her to buy Timberwolf. I will tell her, the price, before we go, and then I heard that

, something was good? And you can get it at Petsmart. I saw this on another post. I will look on the website of Petsmart. I am going to try, and get him onto a good quality food. And then I will tell you guys.

I applaud you for wanting to feed something better. But don't expect it to change Hershey's behavior too much. Labs are notorious for being chow hounds. Mine lives to eat, and is always on the lookout for food. It's all part of lovin' a labby!



Just a reminder ~ when you change foods, do it gradually and remember that you will probably need to feed a whole lot less of a quality food, than you do the Pedigree.
