    Very very much a naturally barky breed. Not that they seem to be non-stop barker or that they are recreational barkers but part of their job was to alert to things out of the ordinary. And they can definitely be dogs who bark from excitement. Savvy isn't bad unless he's alerting to something (which he did a lot as a puppy but now it's mostly normal stuff)...or really excited. On the plus side, they don't scream LOL
