Dogs of all different breeds and mixes are welcome in the agility world. I was just curious if there is a certain group that sets up herding trials for mutts. A guy I know has two collie crosses that are amazing at herding cattle. One dog he found up in the bush when he was out hunting and the other came with the farm he bought a few years back. Both dogs are just as good, if not better, then almost every well bred Border Collie I've ever seen. I was curious to know if there is anything set up for owners who have dogs of an unknown background to show of their dogs herding ability.

I don't see why you couldn't find a local herding club and have them test the dogs.

I have 8 border collies dog that I use to compete in 3 sheepdog trials, which is a competition herding 3 sheep over a course.

I would take them to a nearby herding club and get them looked at.
