I got a puppy for christmas. She is an American Pitbull Terrier. I think she is a doll. I named her Vendetta. She is so smart. Had her name down in less than 24hrs. Is learning to sit and also the "find it" game. I want to work with her in SAR.

I think the people lied to me about her age. I believe she is only about 8-9weeks old now. I'm feeding her Nuti-Source Pure-Vita

Those pictures were taken the next day. Dec 20th. I think she wsa only about 6 weeks old. The vet said the same thing when she went in for her first shots.

She will be starting puppy class on the 12th.

She looks like a beautiful little girl, who gave her to you/where did she come from? Hopefully a sketchy past and being taken too early will not leave any poor affects, Since your doing puppy classes and seem very interested in working with her she should be fine. I love pitties and can't wait to see what she looks like full grown. Good luck with her! :D

She's so tiny, I think you're right on the age. I know Lily was about 15-20 lbs at 12 weeks (and she didn't top out to be very big at all, 55-60 lbs)

But wow, how adorable...I have a special place in my heart for black pitties!

No I have no idea of her bloodlines. Her ad was posted at the gorcery store. They were selling them for 50$. I have no idea what would ahve become of her as they were heading down to the Twin Cities. I love her to death. It doesn't matter what her lines are too me. They thought red nose was a bloodline.

Sounds like you might have saved her - literally - from a fate worse than death. Enjoy her, teach her to be a good dog and make sure we get LOTS of pics ;)

I really do love that little face, not only cute, but really, to my amateur eye, nice bone structure, and her ears look perfect.

Lines don't matter. But forgive me for not being wild about the fact you just put more money into the hands of a backyard breeder and just enabled him to make room for that next litter of puppies.

It's such a slippery slope with these issues.

I wish you the best with her.
