I hope he is older than what they told you. Cause 6 1/2 weeks is too young to be away from the litter and mother.
Did you see either or both the sire and dam? What were they?
I am not trying to be rude, but if you did any research on dog breeds you would have realized it is only backyard breeders that decide to mix breeds to create a "new fad" for outrageous prices.
All mixes will look different and I am sorry but nobody here will be able to tell the difference.
A much better choice is to adopt the comparible dog from a shelter. And believe me there are many comparible to this pup. Not to mention you save a life and help control the animal over population.

For some reason my former post didn't come up ! ( Chaz????) I feel he's a terrier and poodle mix. Regardless of what he is, 6 1/2 weeks is too young to take away from the brood. I would say that he'll be a handfill , so be prepared. A lesson here.....if you have any breeder who sells before 8 weeks , all they want is your $$$$ and get " rid" of the litter ! From weaning on the interaction with a litter takes a the very least 1 hr. per pup a day. It's a very rewarding thing, but only if done correctly !
Thanks for all your guys input actually I bought this lilttle guy from the people who bought it from the breeders "or so they say" anyways I really don't know all I know is I love him and he is the smartest little guy he eight weeks now according to the age the previous owners told me but who know I'll just go but what the vet says when I take him!!! Anyways I asks lots of questions they don't weem to sure them selves but i couldn't say no to him no matter how much he cost me... Since you mentioned temperament, if your puppy really was removed from his litter at six-and-a-half weeks old, this is going to have a much more prominent effect on his behavior than whatever breed he might be. To prevent serious future behavior problems that will stress you and your pooch both, you need to start a serious socialization regiment once he's around 12 weeks old. There's a great book called "Culture Clash" by Jean Donaldson that has a great chapter on socializing your puppy. Good luck! Tyson's adorable!

I think your pup is lovely. Don't worry about the age factor, as long as you socialize your pup properly you'll do fine. He sounds like he's bonding with you very well
When we were kids we got all of our dogs at 5-6 weeks of age...so did all the neighbors. There was nothing wrong with them and they were 100% more sound than most purebred dogs I see daily....perhaps they were more sound as they had the good genes of a natural breed (Mongrels)

Tyson Temperment reminds me of a terrier very much so I am probably going to stay under the asumption, that he is part terrier. What type terrier I have no idea don't really care to much.
What I mean by terrier behaviour is very energetic in the yard ,loves digging and very fast runner and he does this pouncing thing with the stick in my yard lol funniest thing I've ever seen lol Anywho am I right to assume this as terrier type behaviour?????
