tied to my chair outside my front door just now.
He collar has grown into her neck at once, the scar is there.
She knows nothing.

Plan a Hyia goes to Gg's until tomorrow where I take this dog to the humane society and have her pts. I will not send her to the pound where she will have hours of waiting for the same thing.

anyone have a plan b? I am all ears. SHe is tied to my chair, laying under BP's blanket because it is the warmest thing ever and has had a bowl of food and water which she ate all and drank all. I put some vasoline on the skinned chin and cheek scrape.

I don't think she is a runaway. I think she is a dump..probably tossed from a car, someone found her, felt sorry for her, couldn't take her to their home sooooo and with a purse handle tied her to my chair. I am so angry I can't see straight. My dogs are on one room, Hyia and the cat in another. WE have a grand total of 4 so there isn't anything else to do about it.

I checked for broken teeth but couldn't see anything, there is no bloody drool and she ate just fine. SHe is stressing about everything and the dam raccoons can lay off anytime now. SHe doens't need that over her head either.

Pitbulls are not banned here they are sos for the reason that their are too many of them and too many people who don't know how to handle any dog let alone a strong terrier have targeted this breed. Just like everywhere else.

lets add very cat agressive and i am pretty sure dog aggressive to the list. I had Hyia take mine out to the car so i can play musical rooms safely.

I can't put her in teh bedroom by herself or the garage because I am afraid she will tear it up; I do not have a crate. I wish it wasn't sunday.

edit
I went across the street to see since they have dogs like this if they knew anything about her or had a crate I could borrow.. Omg..that's Lady..Lady where's your puppy...so she is not their's but someone who lives in this apt, she is straining to urniate, i thought she felt like she had a fever. She is on her way back to who owns her and I don't know if that is a good thing or not. I hate this.

:(

You know, it is possible that she could've jumped from a moving vehicle........whether that be a truck or car window, a truck would be more likely IMO, because it could go unnoticed for a bit by the driver. Could even be a case of mean spirited people luring her away from her home, hurting her, and then dumping her. It has been known to happen.

I would hate for you to take her in and have her put down IF someone is missing her and searching. So yes, while waiting at the pound will most likely come to the same end, at least it might give her a chance to be reunited with her home, AGAIN, IF they are searching.

Poor girl either way :(

EDIT: You were posting with me. At least she is going home, good or bad, you don't have to do something you'd hate doing to her.

IF that dog was spotting blood in her urine and she just got hit, could that be bladder or kidney injury?

Did she maybe get loose and somebody tied her to your place thinking she was yours? I don't even know. Poor girl.

Likely that she got away from her owner and was struck by a car outside your house, then whoever hit her tied her up.

You missed my last post...she is back with whomever got her in this condition, didn't keep an eye on her, let her collar grow into her neck once, and they dont' know where the puppy is. I did yet another dog a big fat favor. I just wanted to borrow a crate. I didnt' see how I could manage 2 dogs, one cat, one child, and one nervous wreck all in this space without having a tragic happening.

ya all need to read the posts..i am guilty of doing that too on the forum.

I found a broken purse handle tied to a toy truck in teh yard I went to ask about the crate. I figure it is a child that tied the dog here.

Oh I thought you said the people across the street DIDN'T own her but knew her and knew who did own her so they were taking her to them and that's why they said "where's your puppy."

Sounds like they both got out? Hope puppy didn't get hit by a car.

Next door neighbor lady says they are all related. They dont' own the dog but they know who does. SOmeone connected to the person that owned it tied both dogs to these people's wooden fence this morning. Next door neighbor lady said she heard the fence break and saw the two dogs run off. THey were tied with the purse straps still evident in the yard. The other is a large male. Saw the tweeker owner, no mistakes there on that either, pull up and in tears thank me for returning her dog. I feel like i ought to be fined and punished and thrown in jail for doing such a stupid stupid stupid thing. THis is worse than the dog that had the balled up mats of poop underneath and the coat of fleas. I repeated again the dog has a bladder infection or something is wrong. THe man said "i know i see her spotting some blood". Life is so freaking hard ..i just hate this.

I just want to point out that just because someone has a dog with a collar scar doesn't mean they were the ones that let it happen. People do rescue dogs. I'm not saying that there's no way these people were responsible for the collar, as given the other things it wouldn't surprise me if they were, I'm just saying that there are other possibilities.
