I am getting a Goldendoodle (Golden Retriever/Poodle) soon and my family can't decide on a name. It is a girl and it looks like a Golden Retriever. We don't want a really cutesy name like Fifi. I like Roxy but my parents don't. My brother wants to name it after video a game character but no one else does. My mother wants to give it an old-fasioned name but no one else does. My father wants to give it the name of an alcaholic drink but, you guessed it, no one else does. PLEASE HELP!!!!! I WILL BE THANKFUL FOR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I have NO idea why that name popped into my head, lol! Why don't you wait and see what kind of personality your pup has before you try to decide? It took me a week and a half to figure out what Bimmer's name was supposed to be.

My bunnies name is Mika and I think it's a great name. Mean intelligent racoon or something like that. I'd have named Nanook that but the bunny would have been jealous. :D

My husband was a fly fisherman and wanted to name our pups with fly names....I put my foot down at " Rat Faced MacDoogle" but did go with "Bushwhacker" ...our dear Bush was Bubba's Uncle. Do you have any interests in sports etc ??? What do you like to do ??? We'll go from there !

If she is going to be Golden in Colour, how about a name that matches her colour? We have a black dog called Ebbie (short for Ebony) that suits her personality as well as her colour.
how about one of these?

IVORY (or just IVY)
AMBER

Or there are names that mean GOLDEN, like

ORALIE
DIOR
ORLENE
ORVA
KRYSTA
CARMELINE
CARMELA
ARANKA
ARANY
ORLA
ORIEL
ORIBEL

You can find a fuller list on this link:

Good luck choosing!

Well as everyone will know I'm on a russian theme!! Gustav, Katelina, Tolstoy! So my names will be Russian!

Dariya, Ekateirna (where Katelina comes from), Zhanna, Iskra, Klara, Larisa, Liliya, Nina, Tamara, Tatyana, Yana, Alexandra, Alina (short for Katelina), Alisa, Anastasiya

These are some of the more main stream of the Russian names! :D
