help ight be sick

IM getting my standard poodle pup fixed but he has green snot/sleep comeing from his eyes will they tell me that they cant fix him till its gone and what could it be an infection or a cold if one of thoes what do i need to do to get him better

Green tinted discharge usually does indicate infection. Who told you they can't neuter him until the infection is gone? I'm assuming the vet, but I'm curious because usually a vet would proscribe (sometimes uneccisarily) strong antibiotics. A vet should determine what kind of an infection it is to treat it properly.

I agree. You need to see a good vet who will help you. If your vet didn't give you any advice you need to see another one.

i havent taken him to the vet my mom dose not want to pay for the vet bill but i want to take him and she said its probably just a cold and to put a worme compress on it and i try to tell her he has an infaction some where but she never lisents to me so i have no way to get there

I suggest having a real heart to heart with your Mom. I know it isn't going to be easy to do this, but let her know it will probably be 'cheaper' to take him now and get the infection -- if that's what it even is -- under control before he gets really sick. A change of temperature, hot or cold compress, is not going to change anything unless it relieves aching temporarily. Its not going to make him better by itself

yeah i no but its hard for me to take to my mom she is already getting annoed with my cuz i keep on asking her to call the vet i cant do it im to much of a chiken
