well i have a cousin who is a baby
well today i was rubbing his head and i found a soft spot and i touched it not hard but i am scared that it might hert him but i do think i even touched him that hard but i am worryed because i always do but will it hert him if i just touch it
like i didnt touch so soft but i didnt touch it that hard ethier so i dont know and write now i am a basket case so tell me if i can stop worrying?

This is a human baby? Chances are he is ok. You should tell his mom so you can feel better.

Um how old are we talking here? All babies have a soft spot on the front of their head when they are very young. Yes it is a very sensitive area but no cause for concern.

if he is older then perhaps you should bring it up but I'm not sure if it's dangerous or not.

It would take quite a blow to harm the brain through the membrane . I wouldn't worry ......but you should tell the Mom .

Babies are actually born with an anterior fontanel (soft spot in the front) and a posterior fontanel (soft spot in the back) The one in the back is much smaller than the one in the front. They will close up on their own.
