There is a slummy apartment complex right behind our back yard, and we've been dealing with these.... people... for quite some time. I've never met such a group of heartless, mean, VINDICTIVE #$%@%^$^ (can't even include the rest on here) people in my ENTIRE life!

So I was out tonight at like 11:36 (just a few minutes ago) taking my dogs potty. Some people, who were hanging out an apartment window that overlooks our yard, started yelling obscenities in spanish at me, and on purpose, included one word they knew I'd understand. Bitch. They did it over and over again. I fired up the video camera, and the lights went out and they went silent. I sat there for AGES trying to catch SOMETHING. ANYTHING. Nothing.

I shut it off and went back inside... as I walked up the steps, they cussed me out again.

This is RIDICULOUS!!! I should be able to walk in my back yard, at ANY TIME OF DAY!!! without being harassed endlessly like this!!! I've been putting up with this for the past year, because I simply don't know what to do... half the people doing it are minors... but their parents should be held accountable!

We've complained to the apartment manager on multiple occasions, for multiple things, including trespassing (coming in our yard, climbing on our fence), THEFT, vandalism (painting "F*** U" on the INSIDE of our fence, BUSTING our fence), and harassment.

He SAID he was going to hold a meeting and have the cops there and all that good stuff... but I never heard anything about it... it just goes on and on and on.

They've had the cops called on them by most of the neighbors who lived backed up to their complex. It seems to do nothing.

What will do SOMETHING?! This HAS to stop!!!

Well it's just a video camera.... it can only hold so much... We have a security camera in the back yard but it's a cheap piece of crap... it picks up NOTHING at night (it's supposed to have night vision... yeah right). I've tried and tried and tried to catch them on video, but they NEVER do it when the camera is on, or it's dark.

I would call the cops everytime it happened and the apartment manager too. Eventually they are going to get sick of you calling all the time and will do something. you know what they say... the squeaky wheel gets the grease

If it was me I would continue to call the cops each and every time. Be able to give as accurate descriptions as possible. Advise your neighbors who have called the cops in the past to do the same. Also call the apartment complex each and every time. Make sure it is ALWAYS documented. The louder you are the more likely something will be done about it.

Would it be harassment if I asked you Cheetah, where is Christophers gift you promised ? Remember ?

I hope you at least bought dogfood with the 100.
Honestly, I don't see what that has to do with my problem, and is better suited for PM. Last time I talked to you about it, you said "don't bother" and went offline. I haven't heard from you since. Since the whole thing never worked out, and you're actually speaking to me about it, then I will save up and send you your $100 back.

Thanks everyone else.

you might just go ahead & call INS anonymously. if they've already had the cops called by other neighbors they won't know which one to be pissed at. INS will do a better job of figuring out who is & is not documented.

I wouldn't call immigration.

I would call the cops. And I would definitely call your landlord and tell him you're going to move out if he doesn't take care of the situation. Give him a timetable if necessary so he can't put you off anymore.

I can't move out. If I could, I would have months ago. Cops have been called on them so many times, but they don't seem to do anything about it.

EVERY time. Cops need to be called on them EVERY time. And their landlord. Seriously.

Oh, I'd call all three. And I'd let the landlord know I'm calling USCIS if something doesn't happen -- and fast. They are the LAST people the landlord wants crawling around his properties. They may or may not want to be bothered, but no one wants to have them in their business.
