My mom left her shoebox out and was lazy to throw it away in which there was a silicon bag in there. Size of maybe 3/4 of a sugar packet

The dog grabbed it and ran with it but i grabbed it out of their mouth and it ripped open into tiny beads. I did this because I was afraid they'd swallow the bag whole. So when i took it out, the bag was ripped and the beads came out.

I'm not sure if she ate alot or even any at all but the beads fell to the ground and I picked her up to go clean the beads.

Should I take her to a vet or anything? I mean at this point I don't think its possible to do anything if it was consumed.

I would think that they'd pass through especially if it was only a few, but since it says on those packages "DO NOT EAT," I'd call the vet and get their opinion. Good luck! :)

thank you all.

I did read what Herschel put and what others have said; to call the vet.

All of the inputs added up to what the vet told me and that the material is 90% non-toxic and he did say trying to get the dog to vomit or just watching her would be fine.

I don't want to induce vomiting since I don't know how to do so properly so I'm just going to watch her. I did give her food and water just so that it would mix with the silicon incase she did ingest some.

To induce vomiting, you can take hydrogen peroxide and pour it down her throat... one capful should do it, but if she doesn't puke in fifteen minutes, you can put another capful down. Auggie actually licks up the hydrogen peroxide... he's very weird.

It's good to know it's not that toxic though. Once, we dropped ONE of those beads from a split bag on the floor, and I searched the entire floor to find it because I didn't want Auggie to eat it. I feel like a total goon now. =>
