Help!! Big Bella Problem

well my previous thread said that i adopted bella back from her old family. well from what i heard she slept in the same bed as camilla (the daughter). So i brought her home and she did fine all day, but when night rolled around, she wont sleep.all she does is sit on the welcome mat and whine in front of the door. ive tried evreything, what can i do to help her sleep or calm her?
I dont know how u tell a dog that their owner isnt coming back.

I really don't know. I feel badly for you and bella though, I know it must be difficult. I know some people don't believe dogs "think" but she definitely knows something is wrong and could be wondering why her owner isn't back and may be feeling unloved? JMO though, I'm sure others may disagree. I believe dogs feel and think on their own level and even though we don't understand them, we know something is wrong. Love on her, lay by her, give her treats, spend extra time with her. Make her feel welcome and that this is her new home. Talk to her if you feel comfortable doing so. I talk to mine and it seems to help sometimes.
